Girl hasn't text me back for 2 days, and we arranged to go to the Zoo tommorow. been feeling really horrible for like 2 days like I've said something wrong.

I hope not as I really like her :(
 
Sinny, maybe she hasn't been in touch so that there's still lots to talk about on the date. I wouldnt worry about it too much.

I hope so, I just don't know what time we're meant to be going though which is why I've sent her a message.

Though as you say, it could be she doesn't want to carry on talking as it might spoil conversation tommorow. I over analyse everything though.

edit - I found some red wine and playing some french electro to calm me down :D.

It's fine dude, I could comment on the things I might change or not go into too much but that would be more about me than you.

You come across as a genuine guy from your profile, which seems to be the intention.

Thanks mate, I've been on the site for a long time and not having much luck, which is odd because all the women I message say they want genuine guys. I do realise they get loads of messages, that and I'm awful at doing the first message.
 
Excuse me for being blunt but you did ask:

Need a better photograph dude! Ideally one where you're looking at the camera!

You say your interests are varied but from what I read the only variation is either watching DVDs or playing computer games?

Photograph seems good enough, I'd put more on but for I see no problem.

"short and sweet" always springs to mind, though it varies on the person.

I have a problem with my eyes which means they never look straight. Latent Nistagnus, in both eyes. Just making some changes now. It does also state that I'm into photography also.

Its still far too soon for you anyway mate, theres really no rush but you seem intent on rushing. I know all too well why we do these things after a long relationship but if you are not over her (and only you will know if you truly are or not), then pursuing relationships is a bad bad idea.

A good rule of thumb is one month for every year you were in the relationship before you even start dating I know you were firing ahead after only a few weeks but if you dont give yourself the time then you are just going to rebound and rebound and rebound from one relationship to the next, some people spend their whole adult lives rebounding from one relationship to the next because they cant bear to be alone, but spend a few quality months of alone time and you will be a better man for it.

Thats the best I've got currently, no offence taken it's something I forget about, I'm so used to talking to people and them looking at me as if I'm not looking at them lol

Photo seems fine mate, though I'd take heed and write a shorter profile. bit more flirty but not overly flirty. You want the ladies to ask questions as well as you asking them.
 
Well after a few months of failure ive found my new girlfriend on here :)

Having to sift through the dregs of the human race took long enough though...
 
Well as I posted last week, I arranged a date with a girl last week, for this Wednesday. Or atleast the last email I got from her asked if I wanted to meet last Wednesday.

Since then I have sent 2 messages and got nothing back. This was mid last week. Guess she found someone more good looking! Talk about bad manners though, jesus.

@ Orange Peel. I missed your reply a few days ago mate. I had a feeling that I was blocked as those messages suddenly disappeared. I'm not gonna message her again to find out. Bit disappointing as she was what I would class as stunning! :)

I know, I know. I've been told many times. I know it's too early therefore I'm not taking this serious at all. I 'dated' someone for a short while and been on 4 other dates that went nowhere. I made sure of that.

It's been intensely challenging carving out a life for myself the past 5 months as a singleton. You know, my whole identity was J, Mr Dependant, Mr Future-Sorted-Out., Mr Cruising Along Getting Lucky. After she moved out I sat staring at walls for weeks, numb. Not sad, just .. numb. Not knowing where to begin again. And you know, still not easy. I think I've done well though. Got lots keeping me busy and I'm enjoying it, not going through the motions to stay busy, but actually enjoying it.

And yes, the dating thing. You're right, maybe I'm being unfair to the girls that wander into my traps. But my intention is only to enjoy the pleasure of their company and hopefully gain new friends. But right now I don't *really* care if I meet someone or not. I'll make half-ass efforts if the mood suits me, but other than that, I'm happy to hit the gym, work or hang with mates.
