I won't automatically assume Wenger is interested in either of the strikers mentioned, or any others, but again its exactly what I've said and all he's done for years. We keep buying and selling people and changing our bench, without any real changes in the first team.
Petit/Overmars, Wenger used to sell very good players to buy great players. Now he sells our expensive benchwarmers on high wages for new benchwarmers on even higher wages......... Thats why Arsenal barely change, who has Wenger actively sold himself because he's not quite good enough and then gone out and bought a BETTER player to play every game.
Henry, Vieira, Gilberto, Flamini, Cole, Reyes, Pires, ffs even Hleb and SOL walked out on Arsenal and asked to leave rather than Wenger upgrading.
I don't think Flamini was the best player in the world, still isn't, but he's a freaking monumental leap up from Diaby/Denilson/Song. The rest were all significantly better than the players who they were "replaced" with.
Yet again Denilson is asking to leave as he's unhappy at Arsenal and the way its going, so is Bendtner, Arshavin wants to fight for his place but he's not happy with the situation, Eboue the same.
We've got a squad of unhappy players who all eventually force their own moves out of Arsenal, and again rather than ditch the crap players, our transfer policy is being dictated by players leaving as they are fed up rather than what Wenger should be doing, that is benching our worst players, moving them out of the club, and buying stronger replacements.
Defoe or Ode, or another striker to replace Bendtner and Vela, who couldn't get a game anyway? What the hell happened to Wenger.
