Which means off a striker, at a guess.
Young was meant to be getting married this weekend and it was reported that he was waiting to till after that to sort out personal terms... but the wedding got cancelled yesterday and The Sun claim that he is going to Las Vegas on Sunday, so who knows.

It looks like - if you offer £16 million, you are entitled to talk to Jones about a possible move, but not allowed to finalise and complete the move.
So it isn't a release clasue at all?

Rubbish, no player can ever be assured of a place in the team let alone a specific position
That story has been the most unsubstantiated story of the last 6 months! Chambo's dad seems to think getting him away form us as quickly as possible to bench warm is be best money grabbing live through your son thing possible. All the papers are going are recycling the christmas interest with no actual information...
That said if he's sold it'll be for £15-20m which is beyond stupid as he's really not that good yet. Better than Puncheon (even after his spell at Blackpool) but so over valued for other teams at that price! (we could really do with him though or £20m but only one or the other).

I'm the opposite really, I wouldnt mind Dann, I thought he put in some terrific performances last season. Theres better around, but 8-10m on Dann I'd be happy with.
