Wenger talking about Nasri after the game:

"I'm willing to keep him for another year, even if it means we risk losing him for nothing in a year's time," said Wenger, whose side are in Malaysia.

Ok he has lost the plot

My sauces tell me snjeider will sign for Manu beginning of next week:)

Who are they, can we trust them?

Or is it just randoms on Twitter :(

This has been discussed already but yes, it looks like he has :p

There's nothing to worry about yet. There's no reason why Nasri can't sign an extension. If we do terribly in all competitions then I wouldn't blame him for leaving. But if we compete and do well in the league then there's every chance he will still be with us. If you look at Wenger's comments what he's basically saying is that the board agrees that we could use another 12 months of Nasri with the possibility of persuading him into a new contract, rather than the £20,000,000 which I don't believe was ever an official approach and was probably pulled out of someone's arse on Tw@er.

Definitely...i think Wenger should sell him as hes pretty much a greedy little shyster...he plays well for a few mths and thinks that he deserves £100k a week??...well maybe if he was more consistant then fair enough but he hasnt really proven himself...good player with a great future but his greed for money is going to ruin him.

Sell him for £30mill and be done with it...dont care who he goes to ie City or Utd....we dont need players like him in our squad.

But saying that, i hope he comes to the realisation that money isnt everything...Wenger has offered him £90k a week from what i heard but i guess hes refused that as well. Would love to see Arsenal keep him but i dont think we should be breaking the bank to pay him over inflated wages.

Any we our first 11 though has not always been our problem because it has always been able to compete with any team. Our biggest problem has always been the bench and a thin sco. It was like get SG and Torres Injured then no more wins.
But for once we are struggling to find a 1st 11 because there are to many good players around which means competition. Thinking of a bench with Kuryt, Aquillani Mirles, etc is good news to me.

Did you leave the planet from January to May this year?

Yeah it is easy to be drawn into the debate of rumour talk but hard not to when someone mentions £20m now or free in 12 months.

Reality like people have said, someone offers a few million. I wouldn't even be surprised if Utd offered a sum just to stir up trouble in the Arsenal camp.

Could end up with Nasri and Fab staying.

Just looking over those potential Liverpool teams and laughing at the better than anything Spurs can put out comments. There is only one player in the current Liverpool squad that is better than anything Spurs have in their respective positions, and that is Reina.

Dream on, dream on!!

West Ham need to spend. Prem sides are circling them like vultures. Carlton Cole to Stoke, Scott Parker to Villa for £7m or to Chelsea on loan ( ), Rob Green linked with West Brom...

Unfortunately they're looking to United's player of the season to make up for that :( They've already had a bid of £2.5m turned down.

Nah, you're not the troll :p Nor would he be good enough ;)

Did he really win player of the season? I wouldn't have said he was their best defender from what I saw, never mind player!

I was seeing if someone could manage to piece together what I was saying if I made it a little more obvious.

I'd assume he was Man U's player of the season, who else would it have been, Nani maybe?

Who was Leeds' then? I should probably know a bit more considering I have lived there for two years but I only know Becchio and Schmiechel Jr. :p

We were better when he wasn't available last season :p

We're not emulating O'Neill's Villa, we're emulating Dalglish's '87 side. The similarities between Barnes, Beardsley and Aldo to Downing, Suarez and Carroll are clear, lets just hope they work just as well together.

*checks each letter individually*

*checks again, just in case*

Nope, you did just compare John Barnes to Stewart Downing, didn't you?

*backs away slowly*
