after using this the whole day im very happy upgrading from Desire HD.

Sense is awsome but it doesnt make up for the short comings of the desire HD

Indeed that is the case but the numbers are incredible for cell net speeds. I have a ping of 60-80 anyway due to my exchanging linking with the local backbone via a wireless transceiver so I can't play online games more than casually anyway. I'd rather have 10 meg.

Vodafone, I never used to get H+ at home, only H but since updating to KG1 with the KG1 kernel and modem update it's been excellent :p

Can someone help with the with the email client?, i managed to add my yahoo account, but everytime i add my hotmail wont accept it keep sayin incorrect,
when i know my detail are correct, i have tried everything just wont work.

thxs in advance

i use auto brightness. no way could i be botehred to keep changing it when i go inside, outside etc. auto as well means it's as low as possible in middle of night.

A run full brightness most of the time, and dimming is no faff with the notification bar brightness adjust feature. Auto brightness is also detrimental to battery life.

The built in speakers for reminding myself of songs on the way to my gigs, or I sometimes connect it to my car system via the earphone socket. Via my sony MDR EX71 earphones with custom settings on the phone to increase bass, it's not bad at all. Only gripe is lack of volume through earphones compared to my ipod.

Hi try this to increase volume:Enter this number *#*#197328640#*#*
This will open the service mode menu.
Select option [5] AUDIO
Select option [1] (VOICE CALL)
Select option [2] HEADSET
Select option [1] Volume
Select option [1] SRC Speech RX Volume
Select option [5] 5_lvl : 87
Press the menu button (left side)
Choose Key Input
Enter a value between 0 and 100, with 100 the loudest setting.
Press ok
Then press the menu button and select back this will save (don't use the right side back key you normally use to navigate the phone or you will quit out of the settings).
Keep selecting the menu and back until you exit the service mode menu.
You will also note you can change volume settings for other things like Bluetooth, handsets, video call etc.:D

Wow, that is excellent, I had no idea such a service mode existed. I haven't tested the headphones yet but I'm sure this method will work a treat. Your instructions are very clear and I've just done it and saved it as you detailed, thanks! :)

I have a flash issue. Since I had to wipe my phone I get a update to the current version msg on BBC site. However I'm on 10.3. Is there an option somewhere in flash?

Yeah getting that too.

Edit: I read that deodexing 2.3.4 breaks hardware acceleration on the browser ...that might explain why watching flash video in the browser or Pulse force closes sometimes too.
