I don't know why people have these hang ups about the AYC/ACD. It's hardly intrusive and when tested it was faster than an RS Diff equipped equivalent.
I like it, test drove a Legnum earlier this year and was very impressed by it.

Dom't like new imprezas, just don't have the same character and i think that goes for evos too. The 9's are nice but 7's are a bit too sensible looking i feel.
Not sure if they are the same, but if they are related to Car Planet Racing - stay well away.
CPR's directors cleared off overnight a few days ago, owing a lot of people a lot of money.

Can't believe they've done it again !!!
Have the two Skylines left over been stolen then ? theres a link to GTR register but the forum is closed.
You could look at Impreza Type RA. The 4 door Impreza with a WRX engine and a turbo similar to the STI of the same year.
Cheaper to insure, cheaper to buy. Doesn't have DCCD but does have ABS. Probably more worthwhile in the UK having ABS.
I've never really been one to think that paying an extra £500 for £1000 for 2 less doors is worth it. One thing that does put me off classic STIs is the insurance. Guy on SNet is selling a V5 STI Wagon which would suit me a treat as I could do with the load space but the insurance is £800 odd. Just not worth it IMO.
Don't know about EVOs, never driven one. I did drive an Audi S3 the other day and I would say it was as quick as my old UK Turbo Impreza. My daughter felt sick in the back on the test drive so that pretty much put paid to the S3 idea![]()
Yeah Car Planet Ltd and Car Planet Racing were owned by the same criminals
