RAWK/Twitter couple people who have had stuff right before seem to be all saying Coates fee agreed etc now not seen the lad play but ive heard many good things about him so hope its true and we need a CB too so another position filled if its true of course.

I've just seen a lot of this, it was the first I've heard about a deal.

I also have never heard of the player, does anyone have an opinion? I've never seen the lad play. Glad we're getting another defender in though.

Thats not surprising, first its 3 days, then a couple weeks later its 3 weeks, then 5 weeks later we hear its really 3 months, a year later and he's having surgery he should have had the day after whatever it was happened......... sometimes you get the impression the Lewin family is a plague on Arsenal.

Other than the Copa America I hadn't seen anything of him either and other than his performances then (which were very good), the best thing you can say about him was that he was keeping Godin (who I think is an excellent CB) out of the side.

ok now I've got that out, least we made a tidy profit on Nasri, its not like he's irreplaceable, now go spend your millions!
