going by the CINEBENCH result the BD scores a lot less than a phenom ii 6 core clock for clock.
if a 8 core BD performs a lot less than a phenom ii 6 core clock for clock, whats the point of amd releasing it. each new cpu series amd as released in the past as had improve performance over the last series.Prepare for disappointment then.

i can't believe some of you people see one set of results and just shuddery believe them.
so have u or not ? retail chip? What if I said I've actually seen BD.
So yes I have seen it but that's all I'm gonna say. Like I've been saying to some people, just wait and see what happens in a few weeks rather than keep speculating.Early this month, AMD sent us an invite to a preview of their new FX CPU products and we here at Vortez jumped at the opportunity. AMD's new CPU lineup is not far away and AMD were keen to show us what it was all about before launch. Almost all the information regarding performance, price and so on is still under NDA, but today we have a quick preview of the overclocking potential of the Bulldozer-based chips.
ABSOLUT IDIOT
