*** The Official BTCC Thread ***

That was lucky, completely forgot about the BTCC on today, was just flicking through the channels and spotted it! Good job I didn't go out biking this morning!

Haha.. The stupid thing was chancing it a bit by not moving at all!
They're not the brightest birds at the best of times, but the young ones just don't have a clue. There's loads of them down my road, and I've had to stop in the middle of the road, get out of the car, pick up the bird and put it on the pavement before.

Plato walked another win while the two Hondas did fairly well to make up ground and get a semi decent result. Jackson 2nd, Onslow-Cole came in 3rd and O Neill in 4th. Reverse grid sees a front row of Foster and Neate. Should be interesting.

Quite possibly - he now has the championship lead. Every time someone mentions it he starts some pre-emptive script about Silverstone being a turbo track.

Both Hondas got no points from Race 1 after getting a front left puncture. Too aggressive a setup or the extra weight? Who knows.

He's leading the championship now?

Wow, that must suck for the Honda guys. They have developed an epic car and have been penalised all year for it...

I hope Plato looses by messing up rather than just being beaten by rightfully faster cars

Nice hold though, lol.

So after all this complaining and dismissing Silverstone as being a right off, who thinks Plato will stick it on pole after complaining and getting the Hondas slowed.... again?

Skeeter I'm going to get you a t-shirt with 'I Love Plato' with a big photo of his face on it :)

Grrrr. Words cannot express my hatred for Plato this year. I was never a fan of his, but admired his talent as a driver - similar to my respect of Fernando Alonso.

This year however, he's really shown what a miserable, whinging **** he really is. He's ****ed and moaned since day 1, race 1, and Alan Gow has just bent over to each of his requests to hobble the turbo cars.

If he wins the title this year it will be an absolute disgrace, and I hope one day he realises that. I doubt it'll be any day soon, as he seems happy enough to pat himself on the back every time he breezes to an easy win with a overweight and now underpowered Honda in his mirrors.

/Rant
