AMD Bulldozer Finally!

how fast does a bulldozer cpu have to run to equal thuban ??

Thats what im interested in, say phenom II does 4ghz and to get similar scores in benchmarks or better how fast would faildozer have to run ? 4.6ghz? 4.8ghz ?

That 1055T you have can take its CPU NB to 3.2GHZ, that's higher than the average, it's kind of funny, that 1055T OC'ed to its limit will trounce the FX8 in real world app's for the majority of the time.

You will see quite a difference with the 2600k when it's OC'ed to the maximum :p

It's almost like AMD have had their heads buried in the sand and forgot the performance their own chips, and Intels offered.
And they wanted 220 quid originally for that piece of crap.
 
After seeing the benchies from Garaeth I have to say that from AMD's point of view it must be an epic and I mean EPIC face palm
