Shops merchandise their Christmas lines to sell them, not because they feel Christmassy, Towns/villages etc stick their lights on in November probably to entice trade for early Christmas shopping, Gyppos put their trees up in November as they have no class.

Because its a "holiday" holidays don't tend to last over 6 weeks, Christmas can be condensed down to 3 days, even that is enough, Boxing day is all about going out and spending more money on **** nobody wanted before Christmas

I dont see why people feel the need to drag out Christmas so long in the home.
