Okay come on, please post your 5 differences between BF2 and BF3 as you see it. Me personally, I hated BF2 because I had no-one to play with. I joined TFU when BC2 came out and raped it. So I decline to comment
I love BF3 though!
So, please post your top 5 differences below
Chars!
Anything I post will be as I see it, it's my opinion

- No ingame VOIP. I don't game enough to belong to any gaming communities, so i'm a typical casual player. Ingame VOIP is a massive ommision.
- The pace of the game is faster in BF3. 64 player servers are fun but it's constantly in your face, tactics tend to take a back seat as you play what's in front of you. 32 players are better but is loses the "epic" feel.
- No commander role. Love it or hate it, a good commander added so much to the game.
- The whole stats, rewards for playing etc. In BF3 you do get players more concerned with levelling up etc. than contributing to the team win. This should in theory be a means to the same end, but somehow it also manages not to be.
- Cheats. It may be rose tinted glasses but don't recall cheats being a huge issue in BF2. I left 2 servers tonight mid round due to someone joining and then killing everyone as they spawned. I'll be honest that i;ve not had major issues with this before now, but I was struggling with #5!
Don't get me wrong, i think BF3 is a cracking game. I wish I could find a decent server and get involved with voice comms, I'm sure it would improve things a lot. It probably also doesn't help that I haven't gamed in over 3 years and I'm crap now either. I was really looking forward to the B2K maps in a nostalgic way, but they haven't delivered in that way at all. They are a welcome addition to BF3 though (I should add that I haven't played Wake island yet, but I always thought that was a crap map anyway!).
