Hazro series - HZ30Wi, HZ30WiQ, HZ27WA, HZ27WB & HZ27WC

I was an early adopter of the HZ27WC, & would just like to say that nearly a year later i'm still immensely happy with it. No noticeable dust issues, fantastic display at full res. & i still think it's amazing value for money.
Seems to be a lot of hate in the forum, but to date I still can't find a monitor to touch it on specs & price. I've no interest in 3D & don't expect 4K displays to take off for a couple of years yet, so as far as i'm concerened it's been a good investment. Cheers Hazro!

pete have you ever experienced any buzzing or squealing from your WC? Could you do me a favour if you get chance and load the picture on this link in full screen by clicking on it to zoom in and tell me if it squeels for you?

I'm trying to find out if all the hazros do it or not

How curious.
Read your post & thought no way can an image make the monitor electronics audible, but sure enough on full-screen zoom that image does cause a buzz. I guess the sharp contrast from white to black on succesive scan lines is maxing something out. However your 2nd link (multiple photo images) did not produce a hum.
Can confirm it's definitely the monitor buzzing (my PC is 15m away, downstairs). Does the same image affects other minitors in full screen?

However, i'm not worried by it; never had that before with any screen, & i'm pretty sure the monitor is working a lot harder displaying Skyrim at full res (with no buzz).

utterly weird isn't it!! so glad you've proved it for me though guys, i knew it was a fault (or trate) of the monitors. That's literally only 2 examples i have given you. Mine was doing it on loads of other sites as well, you can imagine how annoying it is moving between different websites and getting a different pitched squeel each time

I've had my WC27C for 7.5 months now and couldn't notice any noise with the same or similar image when the first reports of noise started to appear in the fall. However, now there's an audible noise/buzz/drone. Otherwise I'm quite happy with the monitor except for the stuck green sub-subpixel near the centre of the screen.

i'm liking the spec of the Hazro's but i'm so unsure about the issues some people are having. I've just had to return two Msi 6970s once after each other due to them being faulty. I really don't want to go through this hassle with a monitor........what to do!

I think i'll give the glass version a shot and see what happens. Would OCUK unbox and test it before shipping?! ;)

My WD is squeeling as well, sure does sound like coil whine. Nice find with that lines image.

Mine has done it on a few rare occasions with some sites as well but not too bothered by it as it happens so rarely.

Oh lordy, so much issues with these monitors.

If you manage to get a good one, then great! However, I still think you could never recommend them to anyone, in the event the poor sod got shafted.

Hate to say it but the more expensive overpriced ACD 27" is still your best choice for a glossy monitor.
