its been a cool case, as now it means my wife who is boss of the company can write me a cheque for a 'bonus' / 'investment' and I can bank it with no tax to pay :)

If he goes to Spurs then I agree (no disrespect), if he goes to City or back to Chelsea though that tbh that pretty much ends any chance he has of getting the United job.

Like Baz though I'm skeptical as to whether he'll see Spurs as a big enough job for him though, he'll be given money sure but can Spurs attract the same level of players he did at Chelsea, Inter & Real? I'm not sure.

When Mourinho was at Chelsea first time round he had a pretty good relationship and mutual respect with Fergie, so I can't see it being a barrier this time round if he were to return to Chelsea.

If he went to Man City then I would agree that he won't end up at Man Utd, ever.

Like some of you have said, I just can't see him taking the Spurs job. I think Spurs would have to be already qualified for the champions league next season (they have a good chance at this already, but it's still not guaranteed) and give him about £100 million to spend immediately to strengthen the squad for him to even consider it. I don't think he'll settle for being a wheeler dealer like Redknapp.

From what I can remember, they didn't get along very well when Mourinho was Chelsea manager and it's only since he left that things have improved. I recall they had a bit of a slanging match after Mourinho made some comments about Ronaldo (when he was a Utd player) and Taggart putting in some sly digs about Carlos Queiroz being a better manager than Mourinho.

Maybe, but can you really see United being able to get Mourinho if he's currently managing Chelsea? I cant. We could probably get him any time we want while he's away from England, it'll be a much different story if he was at one of our rivals though.

He always got on well with Fergie.

They ganged up on Wenger and the fat waiter.

No they didn't. Fergie famously refused to shake Mourinho's hand when he was Porto manager, despite Mourinho as good as chasing him down the touch line. They then fell out again in 2007 after Mourinho made a comment about Ronaldo coming from a poor back ground and therefore being uneducated. Fergie in turn said that Mourinho had no class or principles and as above, put in some sly digs about Queiroz being the best Portugese manager around.

And hadn't Mourinho left well before Benitez and Taggart fell out?

Talksport! "LFC press conference is behind closed doors affair, LFC staff only today.. cry moan cry cry"

Odd that because there's staff from all the major papers on my twitter feed who confirm they are in attendance.

Can only think that it is so we don't get dragged into a legal battle over us not playing him.
However, if he comes back and wants to play then Mancini has a decision.
Class player and a class ****.

Mancini has no decision FFS!

Is the tail wagging the dog here?!

**** Tevez, even City shouldnt pander to his whims.

Im a Utd fan and i appreciate that carries a certain bias but the day Tevez wears a City shirt again is the day they have officially given up all rights to credibility.

They are better than that. **** Tevez and **** his attitude to football.
