No, the licences are tied to your PSN account, not the hardware. What you WILL have to do is deactivate your system before you take it back otherise you'll have two Vita's linked to your PSN account.

So use the content manager to make a backup to your PC/MAC/PS3, then go into the settings, PSN, system activation, game and hit deactivate. Now your PSN account will not be linked to any hardware.

When you get your new model just punch in your PSN details and do a Restore using the Content manager.

I THINK using the PS website you can deactivate systems remotely but I'm not 100% on that.

Thanks :) Might just do that then!

Seriously considering getting a Vita next month or so (as I haven't owned a handheld since the Gameboy). Is it worth forking out the extra £60 for the 3G version?

mavity Rush demo is pretty short but woah, its amazing.

Would it be possible to just buy it on the hong kong store and play it on my uk account?

If you want Wipeout as well then I would say yes since you get it for an extra £5 when you top up with Vodafone, but then I own one. I like the option of having 3G and GPS against not having it and Near works better with the 3G since it can get your position all the time rather than only when you are connected to a WiFi hotspot that is registered with Skyhook.

Any of the online functionality you can do through a tethered phone if you like.

I've just ordered a 3GB a month for 6months sim from eBay for £29. For me, that added handiness of having it there when I want it is worth it.

Plenty of people got the WiFi though, about 79% of those that bought one in the UK got the WiFi.

On mavity Rush, it is coming out here and is expected in May.

My Custom Crystal Case arrived. It's a very nice solid design with some decent weight to it.. Lovely rubber inserts (oh my) and some nice templates for the inside. The PSV fits very snuggly inside, which is good.

Just won FIFA Football on the bay for a decent price.. looking forward to some games with you guys!

Thanks for the info :D Was originally going to pre-order the 3G version but wasn't entirely sure about how much more it'd drain from my pockets each month for the data, but £29 for that sim doesn't sound bad at all - might have to go for the 3G instead afterall.

This is quite funny, I have not even opened Fifa yet to play it since I have been having so much fun playing all the demos.
And man did I underestimated Wipeout, one level demo is quite addictive... and the visuals...

Yeah i love wipeout, been playing that and motorstorm, and 2hours of rayman. Not even opened uncharted or fifa yet :3

What was that hidden trophy for on Motorstorm Murray?

Just beat a few times off the pitwall and tried more of the supercar speed trials. That car does NOT like the slightest bump!
