GAME lose another supplier

The best reduction I personally saw was DS Stylus' marked down to 98p, down from 99p.

Yeah, they actually put new stickers on all the stock just to do that.

Yesterday and Today only supposedly, but that could change at a drop of a hat, so could their stores still being open on Saturday, I think its got to that point now, where its any day/week now...

ps3ud0

It could also be the case that they are just shifting the second hand stock in order to generate some capital to buy new games in (Which is what they have to do now that the Publishers aren't giving them stock).

Well I visited the one in st Albans on the way to uni today expecting a ps3 mega deal. Turns out last Saturday was it's last day of trading! Explains why there was almost nothing there when I popped in for ssx...

Got a feeling this is it for the company as the st Albans store had less competition than most other game stores...

I can't imagine why anyone thinks it's anything but this. They've currently got loads of overpriced unmovable stock and no money... It doesn't take an MBA to figure out a sensible plan of action.

Some price cuts on accessories, but no sign of cuts on consoles. They've got proper posters up branding it as a "Spring clean".

Just been to my local GAME and there was hardly anything left on the shelves, people had handfuls of games. One couple walked out with 8 bags full of games and what looked like a couple of consoles. Doubt there will be anything left by the end of tonight.
