if they were an MP or banker.... yes... but then it would probably not be their £20 thats being wasted or lost!
Ah, nice. I'm a banker FYI. *shrug* Everybody hates me!

Found £10 in the notes out section of a self service till in my local Tesco the other week. Don't feel bad about taking it nor would I be annoyed if I had left my £10 in there and someone taken it.
I'd be careful doing that, its theft.Found £10 in the notes out section of a self service till in my local Tesco the other week. Don't feel bad about taking it nor would I be annoyed if I had left my £10 in there and someone taken it.
Either let the machine take it back, or just leave it on the side. It's not mine.
I found a £5 note on the way to work one morning. I kept it because in my mind it seemed like a small amount of cash and I figured there was no way to trace the owner anyway. If it had been a packet with a few grand in it....that I'd probably hand in to the police.
STEAL STEAL STEAL!
Very simply, if someone left their phone behind, keep it. They should ALWAYS check to make sure they haven't left their phone.
etc
If I saw the person leave it I would give it to them, otherwise finders keepers.
Take it and buy lunch. If I went to a cash machine and managed to forget the main part of the whole thing, I wouldn't expect to get it back.
Finders keepers makes you a thief. That £20 is going back to the person who withdrew it, until you steal it from them.
