how cruel to do it on a sunday...

its frustrating, but at the same time just shows how good a game it is since we are all chomping at the bit to get back on!

One of the few games where i plan to level all the classes to max level...

Currently half way through act 3 with a couple of mates (DH&Wiz). I was purely interested to find out if anyone was having the same experience as everyone complaining on the blizz forums. Thanks for the offer though.
 
What the hell.. Not had a chance to play so far really as my copy only turned up on Thursday, was out all day yesterday, just got all my jobs sorted today so figured I'd sit down for the afternoon and give it a blast and it turns out the damn servers are down! What a joke!

Not so sure. I feel like a lot of it can be crafted, but you have to get lucky crafts. Alternatively you need to mass buy materials, and make loads of items. Then you have to buy the highest level gems you can (for me it's bugged), and use the jeweller to upgrade the rest.

If I had enough gold, I reckon I could get the equip that I need. I just don't have the gold xD

What morons take the servers down for maintenance on a Sunday?

If this was an office environment... then fair enough... but on a Sunday - probably the busiest day? How ridiculous...

Also annoyed that I had to start all over again after purchasing the full version after killing the skeleton king in the trial :(
 
Getting brassed off with feeling punished for wanting to play single player. Constant internet connection and login server problems are fine if I wanted to play online, but I don't. Another example of retarded DRM affecting legitimate users. Wonder how long before someone makes an offline crack.

are you talking about beta test or guest pass ? unless your new to gaming 99% of beta testing gets a full wipe so that really shouldn't have been a suprise.

Characters from a guest pass can be carried over to a full game upgrade.
