***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

Using it last night for a few hours....I think the screen is too small now and I could do with a bigger screen yet!

Hehe :p

I think it's because the phone feels so small and slim that I think "hang on, the screen could be even bigger!"

Danger Phoenix, the Sandisk card isn't delayed, I've already had my shipping email from Amazon but I chose the 5-7 day free delivery option so it will be here at...some point.

You have to have already had, or set up new, a Google account to use the phone in the first place! :p

Ok I found I did indeed set up a gmail account when I got the phone but never accessed cloud.

I can't find an icon for it. Does it back up to cloud automatically? Do I need to do something?

Yup, what browser do you want me to test it with because in desktop mode on the stock browser iPlayer's website says the phone is not yet supported.

Hi mate it does work just need to select desktop view, but the HD lags , while on the HTC one X is perfect :( killer knowing the HTC One X can do it no problem, also the HD quality on bbc iplayer looks amazing , hope there fix for this, i thought hardware on s3 was better ?

Maybe some browser differences in what kind of streams it handles. BBC use different HD stream quality to other online providers.

This doesn't bother me though as I use the iPlayer app for everything which is perfectly fine and for live TV I now use TVCatchup with has superb video quality.

Well I seem to be going along just fine - my number has been ported over from O2 now so all good on that front, but I can't seem to play anything on the BBC Sport website.....

I've downloaded the Flash player from the Play store, still didn't work, uninstalled it and re-installed it and still no joy. The settings info doesn't seem to do much.

Anyone know where I'm going wrong?

Hi, just using stock browser on both, dont like using bbc app or the mobile site quality is reduced, the HD run same res as the screen and it shows, its annoying the htc one x can play them no problem

Cool.

When I looked at my order, they had changed it to white so I cancelled the phone and my account with Play....

I'll just wait till they're out and see if I can get a deal...

Hope you get some decent service from Play

white_ledbleed.jpg

That's pretty much the extend of the LED bleed through on the notifier and button lights. Obviously the photo is shot in the dark but the bleed is visible indoors under normal room lighting as well.

Note the blackness of the screen itself, AMOLED FTW :)

That looks fine ! I don't mind that !!

I'm leaning towards the white now, the more I think about it, the more I want the white one :p

Date remains the 13th June for delivery according to Play.
