Urgh, now just get waiting for device when trying to flash. Rebooted phone, killed adb etc, 1 device is listed when I do adb devices. Hate how doing all this stuff eats into your waking (tho I should be asleep) hours.

You have too be in the bootloader, yes i know the instructions don't say that.

Well after weighing up the odds I picked up another HOX. I was debating about going for SGSIII or hanging on for the LG Optimus 4X HD or possibly the iPhone 5 but in the end managing to get a new unlocked HOX for £343 swayed it for me. ( £380 on Ebay + 10% Ebay coupon ).

Hi All. i have retested my battery by charging it fully yesterday evening and taking it off the charge 13hours ago.

i played with the phone a bit before going to bed and below are all the screenshots and dump files.

its just below 45%. with over one hour screen time. is this normal?

Do i still have issues? during the day, my phone is down to like 10% after 12hours!

^^^ something is keeping your phone awake when sleeping - and it's eating the battery a lot - can't really see what it is though.

Tapatalk, Pulse RSS reader,Foursquare and i think gmail(syncing two email addresses).

i also have evernote, twitter, facebook, flickr, LinkedIn and instagram plus a bunch of others like a few games and offline apps.

I reckon all those syncing type apps are keeping your phone awake. A bit of a mission finding which app it is though that's draining the battery.

Well I have two Ebay accounts, one for buying and the second for selling. The buying account I hadn't used for a while now and the 10% coupon was from Ebay to entice me back, 10% off anything over £25 up until £100.

Hmm, never considered any extended warranty. May be the case that I could claim the phone off contents insurance. Would look into that before looking at extended cover.

Ah mate Pamukkale was absolutely amazing! It's now snow but minerals all white with a constant flow/downstream of warm spring water with many hot water springs along the way where you can bathe in. One of the wonders of the worlds. There's a jet of constant hot water down this shoot which we walked through it's like a natural jet spa you can stand in it and it jets down and eases away any foot pains after the long walk across it.

Re. the battery.

Idle usage is awesome on my phone; practically a flat line on the battery usage graph. However, screen on time is horrendous - practically a vertical line

Tegra power consumption fail? Or screen fail?
