I think he will be a better coach than fighter. He is intuitive and very smart. Shame in my opinion he never really became as mainstream as Chuck or Tito.

n1 to the TUF season winner... wont say who incase it spoils it
but one concern i have is.. why dont the fights on the TUF series count on their pro records? they are all allready pro's so surely thier results in the series should count on their record?
they introduced justin lawrence as 3-0 whereas he lost a fight in the house so should be 3-1!
rant over.. good night of fights :)

For live it shouldn't matter. I think it was done to prevent spoilers as if they were counted as pro fights then the UFC would have to submit the details of the fights to the athletic commission.

was a ok card, obviously most tuned in for the kampmann vs burger fight, had a feeling it would go that way.

Look forward to hendricks getting outclassed technically all round :)

Let's hope BJ smashes him. Calling out a smaller guy, what's up with that? In my eyes Mcdonald sees it as a quick push up the ladder against a guy that's essentially retired right now, and as I said before, a smaller fighter - poor form.

Chances are however, Mcdonald will smash BJ. It'll be GSP Vs Penn Version 2. GSP has already setup the blueprint to beat BJ at that weight, and Mcdonald has a similar skillset to GSP. Bigger, stronger, better wrestling..... bad fight for BJ.

Penn might well be the smaller fighter, but he has more than enough skill to compnesate. This is the fighter who beat a prime Matt Hughes, demolished a Sanchez who is also a natural welter weight.
I would agree that yes he is retired but it hasn't been that long since the Diaz fight and cardio wasn't ever his strong point!

Although I don't think he'll win, he doesn't look like he wants to be there anymore, but again who can blame him? Guys held two different weight class belts.

Can't see his skill compensating in this one. Bigger, wrestling based fighter never bodes well for BJ. His face is getting turned into burger meat.

yeah Rorys just on another level that time off he had just honed and mastered his skills and timing and patience, rolled all into one hes just too young and in his prime and with guys like gsp walking past you achieve that next level of mma.

Issue with bjpenn is the skill and heart is there and so is the chin still but these next gen mma fighters look totally out of there weight class by the time they step into the ring they look like there one weight class above the guy opposite them and simply out power and out do everything.

Rory will look like a monster when he enters the octagon compared to a tiny bjpenn.

I wouldn't be surprised if BJ can hurt Rory in the standup in round 1 but if he cant put him away then after that he will probably gas as usual.

I would say it depends what sort of shape BJ gets into, he is always very dangerous though, i'd be surprised if Rory can put him away too. It might end up like his fight with Fitch.

Don't forget he's even stepped in the ring with Lyoto Machida.

bjpenns already said he has a pot belly but he says his body feels like its 23 and fully recovered and re-energised..... and he will put in a full work camp to get into shape and ready.

And that is when Rory quickly becomes a bigger name and edges in the top 5 pickings no doubt.

Anyhow prelims are gonna start soon
