The problem Cain will always have with someone who hits like JDS is his chin isn't great. JDS hits hard, very hard. Don't get me wrong I am not saying it's set in stone JDS will beat him again, Cain is more than capable of beating him.
But the fight is not a gimme for either man, and facts are facts JDS already beat him once.
The reason I meantion it's not K1 is because of Overeem's fighting style and more specifically his guard, he uses a standard peekaboo style guard which works in K1 due to the gloves, in MMA not so much and a JDS uppercut would slice through it.
Reem is stronger no doubt, but JDS is way faster and personally I think he hits harder.
Has overeem even asked for a TRT exemption? Only reason people need it is because of steroid abuse, Chaels ******** story of hypergonadism is ridiculous, he claims never to having gone through puberty yet was a Div 1 NCAA wrestler, yeah right.
Overeem has beaten almost every striker with a name? Oh yeah he also lost to Kharitonov, Liddell, Rua got outstruck by lil Nog. He isn't a god.
An to be honest with you, I like both Chael and Overeem. But to think that neither of them have ever done steroids is just silly.
Neither of them have a given for the title, both have a fight on their hands.
Why does everyone just assume Cain has a bad chin? Is it because Kongo (who hits significantly harder than Jr.) dropped him? Or because JDS knocked him out?
Would you say Silva has an awful chin because Chael dropped him a few times? 'Page has a bad chin cause Wandy sent him through the ropes?
Actually its almost impossible to compare him to other fighters under 205lbs as nobody down there hits with even a fraction of the power Kongo/Santos do, not even Rampage.
Who are the only fighters to try and take JDS down? Mir & Nelson, neither of which are particularly brutal wrestlers. Cain brings a whole new level of grappling to the division and has the most efficient and brutal ground and pound in the sport. So long as Cain plays it smart unlike last time, and gets Junior to the floor, we are going to see an absolute bloodbath as is the usual Velasq fashion.
JDS isn't much faster than Ubereem, if at all. Once Ubereem gets a hold of him, whats he going to do? He'll either eat some Muay Thai that comes with way beyond K.O power, or he'll get ragdolled like an infant to the ground, and then we'll see what a Nogueira brown belt can do, lol.
Junior has never faced a striker who's as technically sound as Ubereem, the best he has fought is Mir, an maybe Carwin (wouldn't really rate Carwin as a good striker, he has the hardest hands in MMA but is useless against anybody who can move).
The Reem will be a total shock to Junior and he won't know how to deal with him, just like nobody has since moving up to 260, people claim Jones, Silva, Junior etc. are the guys nobody has 'figured' out yet and whatnot, why is that never said about Ubereem? I have no idea how so few people have realized how truly overpowered a guy like he is in a sport like M.M.A.
As for losing to Rua, Liddel etc.
You stick a 205 Junior against a pride Rua or a prime Liddel, he'll die. Ubereem realized 205 isn't where a man of his stature and size belongs. I like Junior but so far his career has been made up of fighting either wooden horses, grapplers, or strikers with styles that he will always do well against.
As for TRT, I believe anyone can use it to simply bolster their own testosterone levels legally, it isn't at all difficult to be granted permission to use it, and if JDS doesn't use it, then that's his fault to be honest, same with HGH, I'm not against any P.E.D besides Steroids.
To be honest though, with how rapidly pharmaceuticals are advancing and some of the amazing drugs you have now, let alone in the future; being so strict on P.E.D's is backwards in my opinion. As Joe Rogan said; 'One day there will be a drug that can quite literally turn you into Superman, they can ban it all they want, but fighters will find ways of taking it and not getting caught. Guys like Junior are going to have a real ****ing problem with **** like this when it happens'.
Such strict ridicule of P.E.D's are only damaging the sport in the long run. The only reason I disagree with Steroids is the mental issues it can cause, otherwise people should be able to do whatever they want within their own bodies.
Also; yeah, it is silly to think that they have never juiced, its silly to think most athletes in this day and age haven't. Even professional bikers are starting to take P.E.D's, because they work.
