EK-Supremacy is a successor of the legendary EK-Supreme HF water block launched in 2010. It's main improvements are:

The water flows over the flow indicator which shows the water is actually circlying in the system. Water flows afterwads to waterfall on front acrylic cover into the reservoir. On top of the reservoir resevoir caters G3/8 plug to easy fill/refill the reservoar with cooling liquid. Reservoir only needs to be put into an empty 5 1/4 slot. No boring or sawing is necessary. doh lol yeah exactly wrexad I agree though, nasty looking. The only reason to use plexi is because you can see through it, otherwise you may as well use acetal which is superior in most other ways.
something just occurred to me, the plexi are opaque, but the circles are clear, if you stick leds in it I am guessing that the circles will highlight....which might look OK actually.....

All of the new products with Nickel coating are all EN Nickel plated.
There is no issue with the EN process as it is a much more expensive way of producing nickel plated copper.
I only thought I would mention it as both of your comments seems to insinuate that you haven't heard about this?
This new process means there is no way there could be a problem with it unless you use a very aggressive biocide or an unconventional coolant. It is much more expensive to produce than the older method but EK never increased their prices to retailers or end users when they did this.
Moreover, EK did an exemplary job of resolving all issues that arose as part of the old nickel plating problem [which was a very very small problem in the grand scheme of things].
The way they handled the problem in fact was superb for such a small company.
This new line of products shows that they still invest heavily into their own company and that customers still trust the EK brand. They have just moved to a new premises to meet the logistic demands being placed on their supply chain, this is far from being happy coincidence.
Facetious comments are not welcome on these forums, If you have something slanderous to say about a company then do it elsewhere.

Just to add, Gregor at EK has polished my EN blocks which I thought to have been corroded. the polishing and returning of the blocks to me has been done completely free of charge; I will not hesitate buying EK products (until they get that damned plexi sorted out!
