Linkin Park - Living Things (New Album)

Yeah, Start Something was an immense album, they just seem interested in hair are products now :(

Start something was their last good album imo, but i much prefered The fake sound of progress.

Anyway back on topic, 36mins for LP new album, i really hope not (unless it sounds like their previous album, then i wont be bored for as long)

36min is more or less the same length as their other albums.

ATS is the same if you exclude filler tracks.

WHY I NOT LIVE IN LA!!!!!!

For being a top 100 sharer in Linkin Park's share to earn thing i've won a pair of tickets to their sold out show in LA.

How much is a ticket to LA?, lol

AUDIO: LIES GREED MISERY MP3 + FLAC - NEW TRACK!!!!!

As mentioned earlier in our exclusive interview with Mike Shinoda on Zane Lowe's show on BBC Radio 1, we have obtained an exclusive FLAC version of LIES GREED MISERY for you to enjoy. We are the only website currently given permission to legally host these by Mike Shinoda. Enjoy!

"Joe, you get the special honour of being the final scavenger hunt winner. You're the guy that, in fact, as I heard everybody picked you to be the final guy, because you run LPA. Ok, so LPA's been a big part of this scavenger hunt, as we all know, and so here's the final deal for you. So for the fans all over the world, you guys are getting the song, everybody wins in that sense. But we wanted to do something special for the last person who is the last step in this whole thing, and so we thought up something that we thought would be fun for you. What I want you to do with that file, that mp3 that's on the USB drive, it says Lies, Greed, Misery dot mp3, what I want you to do with it is I want you to add your name. I want you to put whatever you want, in fact if you want to put your name and LPA, whatever you want to put it should say Lies, Greed, Misery dash whatever you want after it, and I want you to leak it."

Well another Marmite track from Linkin Park, i'm sure this won't please many of the "Hybrid Theory" fans on the net but again i think it's just how Linkin Park are now.

What do you all think? Anyone going to pre-order the new album?

To be honest when you said it was a bit of a "marmite track" I went in skeptical... But I actually really liked it! It is very different still... But in my opinion it's a step in the right direction! :)

Loving the new track, missed th update in this thread and just heard it now.

Not sure on Chester's parts but loving Mike's, ending is pretty mint too.

Any thoughts on whether they are going to do a UK tour, they seem to be doing every single country in europe except the UK at the moment.

Have always missed my chance to see them live and although i'm not so keen on their recent albums, would still jump at the chance to see them live.

Just listened through the album this morning.

I feel that Burn It Down is the stand out song, the rest is okay... but not amazing.

Lost in the echo is probably the stand out song for me, In fact I'd go as far to say it is the best song on the album.

I have to agree LOST IN THE ECHO is a good track, as is IN MY REMAINS.

This may get me in trouble but if any of you plan on getting the digital version and you want the remixed tracks being released and you wouldn't mind helping a massive LP fan if you send me a trust message you could buy the pre-order from my link, it takes you through the US site and after exchange rate cost £10.20 (cheaper than the per-order through the UK site)

I'm currently 13th top sharer worldwide, i would be very grateful if you could help me get in the top ten?

Thanks

James
