Honest about what?

Fans just want Rangers treated the same way any other club was, the way Gretna was for example, no more, no less.

Just look at what happened to Swindon in England in 1989. Relegated 2 divisions for illegal payments to players.

Assuming that Rangers have done the same with the EBTs then they are guilty of worse. (everything I have read points to their actions being in breach of SFA/SPL rules.)

Not only that, Spartans are rumoured to be preparing lawyers to go after the SFA if Sevco 5088 get into the league.

The league and SFA rules stipulate they must have 3 years worth of audited accounts before membership is given, a company founded this month can't have that. Even using Rangers (In liquidation) accounts, they are still missing a year (well two soon) worth of audited accounts.

So let's be honest, we just want rules applied.

Even then, the issue of what league they will play is secondary, as in order to play you need a ground and players. Sevco 5088 have Ibrox (though apparently this is debatable) but they only have two players.

I do love the 'we've retired number 12 for the fans'. If they play in the football league, squad numbers are not allowed, so they will need to use it :D

Turkeys and christmas are the two words that spring to mind.

Anyone know where I can place a bet for Celtic to win the league in January?

If the Ger's get into Div 1 it will be a much more exciting league than watching the fight for 2nd place in the SPL.

I think the Division 1 dream is dying now too, and even if it wasnt, Rangers in the first would be no different than Celtic in the SPL - neither would be exciting for the neutral.

Ive watched St Mirren in the first, we strolled the league when we had Charlie Adam, John Sutton, Simon Lappin and Kirk Broadfoot - Rangers would do the same even with 3 or 4 decent players and a squad of young guys.

I see Green saying re TUPE

"It is clear in the regulations, if someone has an objection they have to notify within 24 hours, this is nearly two weeks."

I'm not sure if this is the case but if it is then perhaps he has a point re players as he has always stated the conracts moving tot he newco was part of the deal. Lawyers ahead if true.

However as it came from the mouth of Green I wouldnt be surprised if he made it up.

Objections should be made prior to the transfer following the employee consultation period.

I think he's clutching at very short straws there

SFA have already said that having three years worth of audited accounts is discretionary.

Current rumours are that the Rangers players won't have wages paid on Thursday.

St Mirren signed anyone Mark?

In

Lewis Guy - May 2014 - MK Dons
Jon Robertson - May 2014 - Cowdenbeath
Sam Parkin - May 2013 - Queen of the South

Out

Graeme Smith - Released
Nigel Hasselbaink (Saintees)
Jeroen Tesselaar - (Killie)
Hugh Murray - Released (Partick Thistle)
Steven Thomson - Released (Dover Athletic)
Jon McShane - Hamilton Accies (Undisclosed)
Aaron Mooy - Western Sydney (Free)

Cant see us signing anyone else as it stands, we need a reserve goalie and a left back, but we have a squad of 19 at the moment, but we have young guys who can fill in if need be from the under 19 - Samson was an ever present last year.

Rangers is not a new club it's an 140 year old club that has a new registered business number.

The CLUB has over 120 years of audited accounts. The company does not.

Who will enter the SFA leagues the club or company?

Killie managed to take a player from you :o

The Club doesnt have 120 years of audited accounts, the company does.

I dont subscribe to losing of history as a club regardless of the whole liquidation nonsense, as has been said the accounts are discretionary and wont be a problem if the teams in the SFL vote Rangers in.

You cant seperate the club and company when it suits and not when it doesnt though.

Yeah and St Johnstone, they both wanted double their wages (which was reasonable given the seasons they had) but we wouldnt do it, both of these teams had good seasons and were in a position to offer more money.

We are quite lucky I suppose, the bulk of our squad have 1 year left on their contracts, certainly the high earners do (Teale, Thompson being the two highest on a couple of grand a week).

I do worry what the squad will be like next season, as well as T and T, we have McGowan, and Carey out of contract and neither of these guys will sign on again, we will be back to being strugglers unless we can pull some youths out the bag, but others will have the same problems.

A couple of quick questions for people :

1 : Did someone have a signature with a Rangers logo and "We don't do walking away" on it or did I imagine that?
2 : What happened with Mark's bet - did he win or lose or is it still undecided?

In your dream scenario, who have the audited accounts been submitted too? Would that be 'Club house' or 'Companies house'?

Even the players that played with the old Rangers are saying it is a new club.

Ever heard of Triggers broom??
