In your dream scenario, who have the audited accounts been submitted too? Would that be 'Club house' or 'Companies house'?

Even the players that played with the old Rangers are saying it is a new club.

Ever heard of Triggers broom??

Yes I believe its hidden in a cupboard at parkhead.

Definitely getting worse by the day for Newco, I do not see anything but admittance to the 3rd division at best, but with Spartans and others threatening legal action, I am not sure if Newco will get it. Currently there are other clubs better prepared to join the SFL.

Surely the wages will get paid, as the payroll now doesnt include the salaries for eight players, 5 high earners (not Aluko, McCabe or Ness).

The club needs rid of all these guys who have no value, guys like goian and McCullouch are doing the club no favours by staying on big wages.

Isn't there a slight problem that they are obliged to offer a replacement contract in the new co that is the same as the old one, so a few high earners (who are rubbish) can just accept the new deal without Rangers being able to restructure...

Seems a massive lack of foresight from the club as several players should have been sold when they had the chance to reduce the wage bill in the first place when now they are obliged to exist with it and can only reduce it with people leaving on frees.

Yeah the administrators did a terrible job, they were offered 2m for Naismith and turned that down, they could have easily got 3 or 4m for McGregor and a couple of million for Davis, which would have given the creditors more money.

When my club Palace went into administration we sold players to balance the books. Victor Moses to Wigan was one example. Moses didn't want to go but did so (at a cut down price) to keep the club going.

Club = Company / Company = Club

Hogwash

Rangers existed as a club long before they became a registered company. Rangers are a football club it's in their name

Definition of a club

Sports or athletic team or organisation.

Definition of a company

A business enterprise; a firm.

Even if rangers were to be liquidated and the assets sold Rangers Football Club would still exist. Rangers football club under it's registered business name had 120 years of audited accounts the registered business name and company number have changed but it's still a club where people meet to play and watch football the very definition of a club.

The "club" you speak of ceased to exist in all but name as soon as Rangers became a professional team at which time they became a company.

 and have another just for the sake of it

But in the eyes of the football league rules that's not how it works, believe me we tried that one to get out of a 10 point deduction when we went into administration 4 years ago. Portsmouth tried to pull it twice and got 2 points deductions.

Every team that has tried to separate the "club" from the "company" has been told where to shove that nonsense by every football league and the HMRC (or equivalent tax authority, the key people in the matter) because the company would not exist without the club (and quite often the club wouldn't exist without the company for cash). Modern football is as simple as that, because it is a money game.

It could be so that he can keep hold of the assets seperate so he can then put the original newco into administration if things really hit the *****er.

That's how Celtic are set up these days one Co runs training ground and stadium the other the football club. Both have liabilities of around 27 million.

So basically 2 companies try and represent one club that has no place in a football league next season. Sometimes wish this would all just hurry up and sort its self out
