Was going to order the 8GB for £169*, but seeing as the 16GB is now £21 more instead of £40, I've been swayed and ordered.

The £189 place are going to have tens of thousands of orders (at least) and they only have 500 in stock was it?

Just asking, even though its a bit late, but considering I wont be using thine for movie. some music, some apps, will I even really need the 16gb over the 8?

Are Apps taking up much space these days?
 
Definatly not if you use Google Music. Most apps are still tiny but there are some games that are over a gig in size.
 
Just a question regarding google music :p, what happens if you upload some emmmmmm........... illegally acquired music albums? Can google see that and do they delete/remove the music and send an email or whatever stating why? Or is it ok and nothing is done?
 
Ah, I thought you were talking about the OCUK competitor, not Currys. You can say Currys as far as I know.

I'm pretty sure most of it is 'questionably acquired', so I wouldn't worry about that. :p

Phoned them about my troublesome order, had to get them to cancel and then re-order to correct the shipping address. Bit of a faff that they couldn't just edit the shipping address.

But they were very helpful. :)

The guy i spoke to said "that since they announced the Nexus7 he's had the busiest week he's ever had at Google!"

Yeah, but it isn't their main business practice (like the other DSG store), so it's fine.

GAME for example sell some of the same games as OCUK, but they aren't a competitor.

If I'm wrong then I'll see you all next week. :D
 
Just spoke to google and there CS is very good, 100000X better than when i first orderd the Nexus One from them, They werent aware the Nexus 7 was being sold in retail stores in the UK, as in the states there only selling it on the play store for now
 
Even though I ordered the 16GB @ £189 I think I'm going to keep my 8GB Play order just in case.

I'm sure these will be sold out everywhere on release day so I may just sell the 8GB if both turn up at the same time.
