I see the morons are out in force today. Shame they found this thread.
Seems a bit extravagant from Wenger to stop RVP going to Man City.
The average person wouldnt be able to identify teargas by the smell.
Anyone can detect it - burns your nose and eyes.
detecting != identifying
I think you are misconstruing my point, I used teargas as an example of a noxious gas. If the "smoke" was having an ill effect on the passengers, then surely this would have prompted the resulting police response, but the fact they are now saying they are not treating anyone as a suspect means the "smoke" didn't actually cause any harm. Besides, that, if the average person saw smoke near them and their eyes burned, I am quite sure they would describe it as teargas.
And if the average person on a bus was doing something that involved smoke next to me i'd ask whats up not call the police. Seems like such a strange reaction.

Hence the famous song 'teargas gets in your eyes'.if the average person saw smoke near them and their eyes burned, I am quite sure they would describe it as teargas.
And if they didn't answer you?
A quick google seems to show they are not technically illegal yet (although signs the US is moving to make them so in their airspace and on their planes).
I would be interested to know if they would set off the detectors in the toilets. The last plane I was on I specifically remember them saying they would but it sounds dubious
From BBC Article: A police spokesperson said: "We received a report from a genuinely concerned member of the public about suspicious activity on a coach travelling on the M6 toll at Weeford, near Lichfield.
And if they didn't answer you?
I fully expect the passengers to start munching on the police officers.
1. What a [Enter your own bad word of choice] that member of public is.
2. What a waste of money and resources.
3. All those passengers must have been very scared.
4. Late for whatever they were going to do when they got to London.
5. This list could go on....
Most likely leave it at that. Seeing weird stuff on public transport is hardly a rare occurrence.
All the planes I have been on have clearly said they are non-smoking including e-cigarettes for quite some time now. Did yours not say so?
Some airlines allow it and encourage and even sell them on the plane!
Ryan AIr defeinitely lets you use them and more and more airlines are removing the restriction as time goes by.
Some airlines are daft though, my last flight and I can't remember who with, I wasn't even allowed to use my phone in plane mode to listen to music..........![]()
