The woman at the massive tesco working at the electrical section didn't have a clue what I was talking about.
I wanted to punch her for taking a job she shouldn't have, given you know, her section was the tablets etc!.

Just ordered from Argos, due in a few days.

Curry's had a display unit, I was tempted to take it if they would have offered :p.

Was half tempted to order an 8GB, but meh.

Yeah at my local Tesco they were just as clueless.

How come you went for Argos? :)
 
Just picked mine up from Tesco (posting from it now) looks like the left side of the screen is about a mil raised up but not sure I'd return it over that it's really nice so far!
 
Surprised at Onlive was actully pretty decent.

I had to set up the account on the website as it wouldn't let me create the account in the app for some reason.

I don't think they are on sale in store yet so unless she is a "geek" she's probably not heard of it yet.

When I picked mine up from the Tesco Direct counter they hadn't heard of it either but were very interested when I told them what it was.


Ps. I warned them to watch out for a Tom D............
 
I was waiting for some vouchers to turn up for Currys so I could order mine, they finally turned up today, but Currys now showing out of stock until 20th August.

So ordered from Tesco, pick up tomorrow.

Good call, I read that thread I reckon it is the narrow frame, mine is still apparently perfect but I only browse on it so it never even gets warm so my glue holds. It'll be interesting to see what the fix is, new frame design or stronger glue. If I get a fault and it still works I'll just keep it till the problem is sorted rather than swap now for another with first run issues.

Did you order before 3 mate? I tried after 3, couldn't collect till Wednesday.

I think people who believe their's are perfect aren't looking close enough, and ofcourse that's fine and the best way to be. :D

Look close and I bet you'll see some screen raise!

I had mine on an inspection bench saturated with light and a large magnifying glass and it's perfectly aligned, however the most it's ever had to do is browse t'web for a couple of hours and it doesn't get warm doing that.

If I want to do something taxing for it I'll do it and see what happens but that'll not be till footy season if I can get Sky to work on it and hopefully Goog have sorted a fix out by then, perhaps that's contributing to the stock hold up and Apple like return policy for a ridiculously cheap tab.

Mine has none. The first one did, this one now doesn't. I've obsessively stared at it for the past hour around all edges, and there is zero.

Zilch... nata... zip.

I think my replacement is like that.

Although knowing my luck it will go again, the other one was OK at first. :D

Got my mofti case as well, this one. Very impressed with it for the money it will protect it fine when out and about.
