How do i burn an iso with disk utility?

Rename it to a .dmg

If you're downloading ML now, open the applications folder after it downloads, right click and show package contents. Go to the contents folder and then shared support folder. Drag the InstallESD.dmg file to the disk utility sidebar and select burn.

You do need dual layer DVDs though. I've been told there's not enough space on my standard discs. Have to go up to tescos later and get some.

ML seems great so far, bar one thing...how the hell do you turn off the Password remembering option in Safari? I don't want to do it for every site!

OK. Downloaded and DVD burnt so I can do a clean install.

Reboot, holding option key, all good

Then why the HELL does it keep ejecting the DVD?

Doing my head in here! I put it in, out it comes. I reboot with it in, out it comes, I put it in when OSX Lion loaded, all fine, read it, see the files etc. Reboot and out it comes

HELP :(

Hold down C. It never works with Lion when I use option.

Installed.

Biggest gripe so far is that the drivers for my USB3 card in my Mac Pro aren't working, so my Drobo is offline.

Why has the display preferences menu at the top of the screen lost its ability to choose resolution and mirror? Now you have to open the display preferences to make changes.

Didn't work sadly

With Lion I have to press and hold C until you can hear the drive spin up and start reading the disk, which takes a while. Once you hear it going though you know you don't have to keep holding it. That's on my macbook. With my iMac I have to plug in a keyboard because the bluetooth board doesn't initialise quickly enough. So I could have the bluetooth board turned on, press and hold C and start the machine and it still wouldn't boot the CD/DVD. It's a right pain.

Working a treat here on a non-clean install. So far I've done over-the-top installs only on this thing since I bought it with Leopard installed

So far no issues. The uMacbook is hot as hell right now post install so I'm letting it cool down.

All updated with non-clean install. Seems nippy. Had 1 force close in Safari however, simply while browsing through prefs.

EDIT: A couple of observations...

The gesture to lookup words using the built-in dictionary is now single three-finger tap, not double. And this functionality now finally works in Preview.

If you've set the scrollbars to auto-hide, they will enlarge when you hover over them with your cursor while visible, making it easier to scroll by hand if needs be.

Quick question about upgrading from Lion. I've got a bootcamp partition with win 7 installed, will installing ML effect this partition at all or will I have to reinstall afterwards?

Anyone notice text (on forums for instance) a bit blurry or different, can't tell if my eyes are tired or its Safari. :o

Only just finished installing it, and putting folders back and installing some apps. Not bad so far, haven't really tried out or looked at the new features.

It wasn't happy about writing to an 8Gb USB stick so I'm just waiting for the DVD burn to verify before I install. It's like watching paint dry!

ML has downloaded in 15 minutes but my backup is still running! I knew I should have done that yesterday I can't wait!
