I'm in the same boat, and disappointed with the way this has been handled.

The AppleID I used to buy the MBP is the same one that I use in the Mac App Store. Why these two systems are not linked is beyond me, they can SEE that I've bought this device recently and can automagically authorise the download.. but instead, I had to fill out myriad form fields and then take a screen shot of my invoice, crop it in Paint and then e-mail the resulting PNG to Apple. When filling out the forms and I saw 'Apple Online Store' as a choice for place of purchase then I thought it'd then ask for the order number (the invoice has the serial number on it) and that'd be it - not this palaver!
 
Installed as upgrade.. Safari is much faster.. I'm impressed.. Quite like the notifications but doesn't seem to work with Outlook :(

I agree the signup process for it wasn't as smooth as it could have been. Especially having a telephone number text field which wasn't long enough for me to enter a landline or mobile number. But I wasn't asked to scan in any documents yet. I was just asked for my serial number for my Mac.

Still waiting on the email as well :(
 
This is taking forever for me to download sadly :( Really annoying as I'll have to leave it overnight to download. It doesn't auto run does it when its finished? If so, what does it actually do?

I don't want it to start installing without me actually over-seeing it.
 
Anyone know where the install file is for ML after installing the software so I can burn to USB? or do I need to download again from the store?

Works great btw :)

Once its downloaded you get a pop up which asks if you want to install now. If you don't press continue it does nothing.
 
Anyone have any idea why my Icloud Tabs wont work? I have open tabs on both ipad and iphone but they are not showing in OSX. Tried turning Icloud off on all devices but no joy

i am sure I read you need IOS6 for this, in a review earlier.

OK then, it's installed and worked so apart from Safari (which I don't really use), what are the killer features?
