OcUK TrackDay: Donnington 22nd August - £135!

I spoke to the people earlier, they're slowly uploading an album at a time.

Keep checking your account and they'll give you a notice when you log in informing you that you have photos.

Yep I'm well up for another go, really enjoyed it.

Doesn't look like there is another evening session this year though, at least not that I can see. End of October onwards there are full OPL days for 139 though.

Where you seeing them for £139 m8? I am seeing £195 only?

What an absolute moron, unfortunately had something similar at silverstone myself with an M3. 8-9 laps ruined and i eventually resorted to flashing my headlights at him, too which he finally got the message. Marshalls should have noticed this and black flagged.

EDIT: HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIM

I did flash my lights, he took zero notice.

He even came to my garage to brag how we were having a good duel to which I responded, a car catches you up because they are quicker than you and as such you held me up.

Yet he thought he was quicker than me? Hopefully he will come across the video and realise I was having to get out of the loud pedal and brake earlier than I had to because he was in my way. Guy was a moron and dangerous judging by what some others said. But it annoyed me as can be noticed from the video.

I have huge respect for the R26.R I think its the best FWD car ever made for track work, far superior in my oppinion on track compared to the DC5 or lets say they always seem to do better.

Big slide! :D

Though on video it looks rather time, but from the passenger seat I can tell you it was a lot of correcting going on LOL.

Ahahahaha, I can remember chasing you in the passenger seat of a Ferrari 360 when you had the CSL and the Ferrari doing exactly the same!

Well done holding it.

should have been more blunt with him! That was disgraceful.

I think because you were giving him space he felt he was as quick, which he wasn't, but this is quite common on track days when drivers behind give slower cars space. Next time a bit more aggressive in the braking areas and run very close to his chuff and I bet 2 corners and he indicates to let you past. The fact you were being a gentleman, not wanting to get your car peppered with crap or to get involved in his accident and dent your motor, all of which I full appreciate, was probably the cause of this issue. Next time I'd run on his bumper a couple of corners, he'll soon see who's quicker and move his ass out of the way.

Gibbo: "****ing French piece of ****!"

:D

I did happen to walk past his paddock before he was going on. He did seem to have a big ego, was on about beating that green focus RS by miles and keeping up with caterhams/kit cars on his last track day. :o

Yeah know what your saying mate, I just hate getting close or being a bulley because like you say the risk increase massively as if I make a mistake or my brakes for some reason don't quite work as they should and all of a sudden I am into the back of him and we know what happens when German cars hit French cars. ;)
