is it correct that the key is included in the disc? so it will have to be 3 different downloads for each pc, i cant just burn one disc and use it on all 3?

Odd I'm positive I didn't type it in. Be brilliant if I have just got **** memory though.Don't think so. I had to type the key in during the setup.
So just to check I can just install windows 8 CLEAN INSTALL without bother even if I purchase the 'upgrade' version ?
What do you mean clean install?
You can't install it on an empty HDD, you can however have, say a drive with win7 on it, run the upgrade assistant and then chose the save nothing option.
yeh i was thinking more about time burning dvd's etcYep, allthough there is a way to change them, but don't know anyone who's tried it, using command prompt. If you have a decent connection it only takes a few mins. Or went to sort my parents computer out and it has ~11hour download time, so came home and going back there tomorrow.
