installed cm10 the latest nightly build last night and loving it

liking the speed and no bloat software

really tempting to get the nexus 4 now as i like the fact its bare android

Was about to post about the same issue.

Its been happening on mine for a while at stock and also running latest Wanamlite.

The bluetooth failing is becoming a pain.

Anybody got any suggestions?

Yep, had this a couple of times in the last month plus for the last week my bluetooth looses connection and reconnects all the time with my hadnsfree kit.

Running stock and not JB. :(
 
Got myself a bluetooth usb receiver off the bay and now streaming music from my S3 to my hifi/speakers.. Beats the £50 i had to spend to do it with my iphone!..

The S3 is saving me money.. usb receiver was only £8.. loving this phone and android.
Best move i ever made leaving apple behind.
 
The idea of Photosphere is fighting with the handiness of checking my bank statements from my phone.

Is there a ROM that anyone can vouch for that has Photosphere working nice and smooth?
 
My S3 seems to have lost the ability to open youtube links on the browser with the YouTube app is this something jelly bean has changed?

Is there anyway I can change it back so I can open youtube links with the app?

Try clearing the defaults for the app that is opening YT links which, I assume, is the browser - Application manager> find the app> clear defaults.

Thanks for the reply. Waiting for a JB update on an International S3 version which still hasn't come around yet that's why I ask :p
 
I have had the bluetooth issue about 3 times since day 1, I suspect it's caused by the driver as the OS appears to be informing the blue transciever to activate but it doesn't reply back with confirmation it's on. Really wierd bug, seen it before on samsung Androids too. Turning the radio on and off via airplane mode fixes it too IIRC.
 
About the call log thingy...thinking about mine, it's possible the calls have been grouped in in chronological order, not specifically by contact. Also when i try and change the view mode from 'all calls' to anything else it always reverts back to 'all calls' once i leave the screen. Must admit i do prefer android to ios overall but ios doesn't have (many of) these little traits. Maybe its cause of all the flashing roms.

i just find it strange that it groups a few then it will add a new instance of the same contact if i cal them again

Yeah, I've just checked, I think its doing the same as yours. it is chronological so if you have call/message/whatever with one contact it will keep grouping that one together but if theres a few different contacts in succession it wont group them together. Weird. That was one of the things that didn't particularly bother me until you've brought it up. Thanks :D
