***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Got mine, hardware seems well built and UI is very smooth. Have noticed the very faint buzzing sound from earpiece.

Have got an issue with the Wifi being very flaky - appears connected and occasionally works but usually sits there with connections timing out. No problem on old Desire or PC, nothing fancy like static IP addresses or anything special about the wifi/router. Data connection via 3G seems fine.

Any ideas why?

well well well!

Just ordered online via o2 as my friend had an o2 open discount that he kindly shared with me from another friend :p.

179.99 + 10.50*24 - £100 o2 open discount - £50 quidco = £282 :p Assuming it works which if it doesn't I'll just return it under dsr.

Any comment about the heating issue people were worried about pre-release?

The phone does get warm, it has never felt hot yet in games or anything, but some of the reviews even stated that it never feels hot even when it is throttling.

I have only played some Riptide HD thus far and it was fine with no sign of slow down even it maybe throttling in the background (no idea if it was).

I've played some Mayhem and NFS MW. It got warm after playing Mayhem for 20 minutes but nothing that I haven't seen before.

I also bought one from O2.

Shamefully I forgot I needed a micro SIM so off to get one tomorrow. The phone is unlocked as described previously.

Unfortunately I do not have the photosphere icon, nor can I swipe down with both fingers to display the additional menu. Any ideas?

You'll get a software update soon. Or go into settings, about, and system update.

Aye, I'm impatient that's all :) It's working now, thanks.

Slight light leak (can't remember the proper terminology) at the top of screen on two sections. Apart from that, I'm very happy. This is only on full brightness and on a black background... and if looking for it.

Secondly the screen at low level lighting is excellent. Coming from a Galaxy Nexus (which screen at low level lighting was TERRIBLE and streaky) this really is so much much better :)
