Well they aren't and probably never will be, so either deal with it and don't do those quests/bosses solo because they are DESIGNED to be dealt with by groups or ask on here and join up with any of the other dozen people looking for help.

Doh!! I did the TK Baha side quest and handed it into Hyperion by mistake instead of his niece!! 
Is there anyway I can edit the quest in the save file and start again??

Only problem with that is that if the boss does drop some nice loot you're unlikely to get it playing the game with randoms.
I do have a mate who plays the game on PC but he only seems to want to play it with some German guy he's joined at the hip with. They just run to objectives as fast as possible and dont speak at all. Personally I find that dull as hell and would rather play solo tbh.
Other mates have it on Xbox. It's one reason I'm torn between PC or console. It would just be good if they could add a solo difficulty for the bosses as well but i'm not too bothered really.

you did the right thing.....she gives you nothing, in the 1st playthrough she gives you a rubbishy old pistol, the Hyperion weapon is better but not by much... it's a shotgun that fires like a wave, it's a very odd weapon.
Hasnt worked for a long time. There's only one way to do it now.

The shotgun is terrible. Its no better than it was in the first game, because the wave pattern just isn't a useful spread. The pistol on the other hand gets a massive crit damage boost and is a great mid-range weapon.
Of course, if you've cheated and opened the chest 200 times of course its going to seem bad
@ CAT - Its a bit late now, but if you do hand a quest in to the wrong person you can just press Alt + F4 and it quits before it saves.
you have to download this weapon cheat, it works fine, search for the video on Youtube.
but it keeps giving you the same stuff over and over again, it wont give you Legendaries, only high damage normal guns, these you wont find in game, so it's still very good....it looks like about level 55
am i Cheating ?....... no, it's now the correct balance for a FPS, it's one head shot or two body shots, in fact; the game is way better now, it's much more skillfull and fun, because i still die easily and it's important that you do. because altering your skill points/ God mode etc will spoil the game totally, dont do it
Sledge's ****ging bitch is probably too powerful, especially with the 24% **** damage relic, it's killing them too easy at range, roughly 100ft, it's deadlier than Conference Call, in fact, i have no need for Conference Call any more, i only shoot Bandits nowadays..... this gun is NON- CHEAT, just in case someone has a go, it's a legendary.

maybe we didn't get the same pistol, no i got this pistol before the chest cheat, yes the shotgun has a wide open FLAT wave form spread, it's flipping useless.

Just finished the game - BL2 is much more darker than BL!!
However,I only got one legendary(the one from Lilith),is this normal for your first playthrough?? My character is level 31 and I did quite a few side missions.

yea i'll give you that, i'm not a Borderlands fan anymore like i used to be, but i do like shooting the bandits.

Handsome Jack is a robot, his face was semi ripped off when i killed him, he's a Hyperion creation, this is mentioned by a resident of Sanctuary
also of huge interest are the bandits, because some of these have lived before and have been brought back to life, i.e Juggernaut sais as you kill him ``oh no, not again`` and one bandit sais to you ``do you remember when you killed him last time, that was funny ( not juggernaut) ``..... i first noticed this last week
i went ``this is stange, what's going on here``
i then noticed Juggernaut, plus the huge Psycho ( long arm) and also Goliath have staples holding their faces on....... Goliath's staples explode and his head pops out and a bandit sais ``who removed his helmet, quick dive for cover``.and Juggernaut is told ``do not remove your chest armour``, he mentions this, so something strange is going on here, no idea what..
probably Hyperion experiments that have gone wrong, like those Abominations in FEAR 2, because the longer you play this game after finishing, the more you hear the bandits saying strange and disturbing things
the game got past the censors easily ?..... yea but you only hear these comments if you've been playing for months on end, i only hear them in certain areas and maybe only twice a night.... i expect a developer sneaked this into the game on the quiet without the other guys in the office knowing.
Borderlands 2 is very hard to stop playing, it is below the surface a very dark game, it has very deep undertones, the game taunts you to carry on killing.
i wonder if others notice this ?

I listened to what that chap was saying about Handsome Jack in Sanctuary.

Handsome Jack was a Hyperion programmer called John. He had the mask on already when he was at Hyperion and it seems his wife either disappeared or died. It could be that his daughter,Angel,did something as another recording implies a similar fate happen to a dozen other Hyperion employees too,and that is wife had suggested they stop what they were doing. I think the abuse by his grandmother and what happened to his wife drove him over the edge.
The mere mention of her made him murder an employee and it appears he already knew about Pandora when he was a programmer,which enabled him to get to the top of the Hyperion corporation. How would some programmer know about The Destroyer and The Warrior??
It seems The Warrior is a failsafe in case The Warrior was let lose,as it is activated by Eridium,which spread though the planet after the first vault was opened. I suspect the weapon the The Eridians used against The Destroyer was The Warrior.
Have you noticed the Cult of the Vault challenges?? It does make me think Handsome Jack might be linked to this.
Another aspect,Handsome Jack spared Tannis after he got the key?? It seems out of character for him,so I do wonder if Tannis,is linked with him someway?? She is obviously crazy,cannot handle people and interested in The Eridians,so I wonder if she is actually the mother of Angel,and was driven crazy when she was younger by her??
Have you also noticed how Sirens are important to open the vaults in both games?? It indicates that The Eridians seem to have some influence too.
Also,Handsome Jack does appear to love his daughter despite what he did to her,and maybe in his own twisted way he thought he was saving her??

The recordings imply that Angel accidentally killed her mother with her siren powers.
As far as Tannis goes, that is way off the mark. The quests for Tannis in Borderlands 1 where you recover her Echo Logs clearly show how her slow descent into insanity. She loses all sense of emotion after watching her colleagues die and the isolation makes her lose it.
It does seem very unlike Jack to have let Tannis live but he does claim it to be mercy even if it was a little twisted.
