They DO use the same panels. I've got 3 Korean monitors and they're pretty much fault free. No backlight bleeding, no image retention. The absolute worst thing is that I can occasionally notice that cross-hatch pattern on pale/light blue areas of colour, but it's barely noticeable at all unless I'm specifically looking for it.
 
Arrived and switched on. Wow I tried the DGM before and liked the screen. Was worried about the coating on the Dell. Have to say I think they have found the right balance with this. I am glad I switched to the dell, my initial impression are wow amazing. Very happy chap so far :)
 
Mine has also arrived and tbh it's a bit meh. I had no emails or anything no mention of a dispatch just had a guy deliver at 8am this morning.

It seems to lack any colour depth compared to my LG's it also has the annoying buzzing which is worse on word and anything with a white screen.

I think mine will be going back and I will stick with the Dual 23" for now.

Strange ... not noticed any buzzing on mine and will run screen calibration later, but looking good from what I can tell. Was the Lg screen calibrated?
 
I ordered one of these U2713 monitors early this morning and I Just received the despatched e-mail :)
But not from OCUK (as they don't do free delivery to channel islands) :(



Am really hoping the PQ going be as good as my U2410

The LG's I have set up myself. I can more than likely fix the colour issue with a bit of setting up but I think the person that calibrated mine must live in a very washed out world as the coulour is awful.

The Buzzing is quite bad and I'm pretty deaf. My wife also mentioned about the noise so it must be bad.

I will leave it on today and see if the buzzing dies down. When going from a dark screen to a white screen like word is the worst.

I like the size of the screen although as before with this res I find everything a bit small but that can be fixed I suppose.

I have not found any dead pixels and there is no back light bleed at all so at least there is that. I'm just hoping the buzzing will go away as there is no way I can put up with that.
