US: Homeland Season 2 (US A week before UK)

She was his partner, hence the asinine chatter.

Except 3 went down the hall and all she did was hang back with a torch.
I forget, is she ever armed? Considering the situation, I wonder why not.

"Oh, we're looking for an incredibly dangerous man, my "partner" was there not 10 seconds ago and now he's lying still on the floor, I WONDER WHAT IT COULD BE" Nope it's okay, just waltz over there like a retardedly curious cat whoops it's abu nazir. Should've picked up that m4.

Also they should've detained him so much quicker, rather than just stand there for 20 seconds. I was so sure they'd have him pick up the knife and manage to kill himself.
Heck, all they said was "Do not move", usually it's all GET ON THE GROUND HOAAAH 'MERICA TACKLE ONE GUY WITH 20 PEOPLE. I fully expect someone to say "what if he was armed/had an explosive device, well you're standing 5ft away from him already, just grab the nutter :|

That's not unlikely at all actually, it's either that or they have to engineer a scenario that makes Brody needed, or have some balls and kill him off like they should have done in season 1, they killed off walden anyway, they could have had a spectacular season 1 ending and then a completely new season 2, oh well. BTW when did Carrie get reinstated or is she still a consultant?

When Brody was exposed, they then realised she's only 99% bat**** instead of 100% and reinstated her.

This season has gone down hill in the past 2 episodes, i hate the relationship between Carrie and Brody. I just want Quinn to kill everybody, him and Saul are the two best parts of this series.

I thought this weeks episode was utter garbage. Shame as I have enjoyed everyone so far. But that tunnel scene was a joke and I thought it was a pathetic end to the Nazir arc.

Hope they finish with a great one next and leave it at that.

Similar sentiments. Getting fed up with this show. Carrie walks down tunnel, falls over, clang. Carrie solving hidden partition ruse that TAC team have missed after 4 sweeps. Team of TAC agents split up leaving one guy alone and the mic's fail too. Carrie doing that "skeleton with googly-eyes" acting thing every 10 minutes. Grrr.

That had to be the most inept tactical squad in America. It was stated in the episode earlier that each tac member has a partner (by Quinn I think), presumably to avoid siuations like the idiotic one that Kerrie and the lone soldier found themselves in. I'm pretty sure that you'd notice your mate and a blonde CIA operative suddenly not behind you even if it was 10 seconds, let alone 2 minutes. And where the hell did Abu Nazir suddenly ninja his way out from?

Hopefully they'll tie this all up in the next episode and then end it, too many shows getting dragged out after the original story has ended these days.

Season finale was cool. Thinking there may be another big bad?! However, how crappy are the tactical teams / security teams in this show; Oh look, a car BY ITSELF parked just outside the vice presidents funeral service and no security bother to check it out...

Yes they had better mention cctv next season as that place would be cctv'd up the jacksie.

Improbabilities aside that was still a good episode and Claire Danes can be my looney chick any time she wants.

Didn't really like the last couple of episodes. Carrie flips between personalities so much that it seems ridiculous they'd let her anywhere near the CIA. Quinn suddenly turning on Estes was ridiculous too, unless he turns out to be the one who planted the car bomb..

If they had known Walders heart attack wasn't an accident then they might have realised about the plot.

Seems quite far-fetched that it could have been pre-planned by Nasir. It pretty much has to be some other key player, such as Quinn. Even in the cabin he'd already forgiven Carrie 'never made bad decisions in romance' or whatever.

Although lets be honest, this was all planned by Saul. He's now head of the CIA, he's got his love interest to move back and he got revenge on the people that detained him. He was sad he had to sacrifice Carrie to do this, but then he saw her at the end and realised his plan was perfect. Very good poker face on Saul.

The president Didn't Go to the memorial service for his own vice-president

They could probably chalk that up to it being a "CIA Memorial" but it's still big plot hole.

Regardless, I think this episode was a lot better than a lot of Season 2. Certainly nowhere near the level of Season 1 but S2 has been lackluster and stupid for the most part.

In my opinion, this was much better than most of the other episodes in season 2 because it returned that uncertainty and doubt of where the threat was coming from that was present in most of season 1.

Who do you guys think is responsible for the bombing? It's presumably got to be Saul, Quinn, Brody, or a new threat who have chosen to pin it on Brody. For me, it's got to be one of the first two. If it was Brody it wouldn't really make sense to release the confession tape, and I think most viewers would find it pretty boring if it turned out to be none of the three. Also, for large parts of this season they've been pushing the idea that there's a mole within the CIA, so for me it's got to be Quinn or Saul. I don't think it's crazy to suggest that it's more likely to be Saul (seeing as they've already poked into Quinn's background when they suspected he might be Al Qaeda).
