JDS better win this, if I don't see him fight The Reem for the UFC Heavyweight Championship in 2013 then I'm going to be very unhappy

Why would you rather see that than the two best heavyweight strikers of all time go to war?
A totally unnecessary and dare I say, dangerous strike to an already knocked out opponent. Doesn't give MMA a good name!

Cain has only been to decision once in his career, he's won by KO or TKO every other time - most of the time in rather good fashion too.
Cain got caught by JDS in the one place where it will really mess up your balance and senses, just behind the ear, watch his fight with Kongo which will show you how good his chin really is, and then his fight with Big Nog to show how good his boxing is.
Cain all day!

Grappler versus striker match-ups are ten a penny, there's at least one on every card; I can count on the fingers of Captain Hook's bad hand the number of times we've seen elite level strikers fight each other for the HW championship.

What makes Cain a grappler rather than a mixed martial artist?
If you want to see two elite level strikers fight then just watch K1.
I'm not sure if there's any answer I can give you that won't result in you replying "just watch K1", but I shall try anyway.
I've watched Jacare fight Maia at ADCC but would still dearly love to see them compete under MMA rules; of course you could say "just watch ADCC" but that's not what I want, I want to see two of the best grapplers in the world fight each other in the Octagon.

That's fair enough, but I think calling Cain vs JDS a grappler vs striker match up a bit off - especially considering Cain has only won 1 decision, the others have been via TKO or KO, and it is infact JDS that has won via submission in his past (along with a decision win too).
Out of interest if JDS wins and fights Overeem in an MMA bout would you be annoyed if you saw either fighter try to take it to the ground?

I love the ground game; I'm the guy who jumps out of his seat shouting if there's a clever sweep or a fighter passes guard whilst my mates are booing and asking why the ref isn't standing them up.
With that said, yeah I'd be a little disappointed if Overeem tried to take JDS to the ground.

Ill take grappling/wrestling in a technical battle over a striking.
But cain is a grappler. i know he has won with striking, but he is an olympic level grappler. same as GSP.
cant wait to see the fight. We needed this. a proper fight i hope. but JDS is the champ for a reason, so this will be fun. i hope overeem gets fired and never fights again. Same a belive of chael, diaz, rousey, and any other person who is caught taking illegal substances.

There is a HUGE difference in drug use though, you cant compare PED use to smoking weed - comparing ubereem and cyborg to diaz is insane - I appreciate both are illegal but come on...
What I'd like to see if for Anderson Silva to stop being such a pussy and finally agree to take on GSP. He already agreed to give up his title and to jump classes to be able to fight Silva and he's just being a lil girl about it. He doesn't want to lose and he knows he would.
