Wasteland ARMA II Mos : Server Details

Sometimes it is entirely not possible to complete missions if you are part of a larger team. This is also the case if you go Indies. If you are a scrounger/hider and like to pickup cash from dead fellow human beings, it helps to have the ability to buy bigger weapons.

I think Independents should be the thorn in the side of Blue and Red. Bigger teams should be able to swamp missions and build bases etc.

Otherwise you might as well ditch Bluefor and Opfor and have all independents in teams of 4 or 5.
 
Looking to start this up again - so what exactly is the role of an independent if you cant complete missions and presumably have naff weaponry?
 
Indies can complete missions, and they dont have naff weaponry. Youre in charge of getting your own kit. You can group up with other Indies (well, if the script worked) or go free for all and wipe out everything you see.

Kill anything that moves but in all honesty as things stand, you have a pretty good chance of capping a mission even on your own because Bluefor and Opfors are pretty unorganised at the best of times.

The point I was making is that if Red or Blue used their number advantage, then should be able to secure missions easier.

Both men aged 28 and 33 years, who work for a video game-producing company Bohemia Interactive faced up to 20 years in prison if they were convicted.
The men supposedly rerecorded and photographed strategic military objects to be used in an upcoming military shooter.
After Bohemia Interactive denied that its employees were in Greece and illegally obtained photos as part of their work, the Czech President Václav Klaus also sided with them when he sent a letter to his Greek counterpart Karlos Papoulias with a request for their release.

So CAI, in the new boxes that will spawn at the C130 mission. What you think would be good to have in them?

Can look for other opinions also but this with some tweaks?

US Special = M107, DMR, M204/M40A3 Camo,grenades, smokes, rangefinders
US Launchers = NLAW, SMAW, Satchel, M136

RU Special = KSVK, SVD, PKP, VSS Ventura
RU Launcher = RPG-7V, Igla, Stinger, Strela, Mines
 
I shall make it so the US caches drop at the C130 mission and the RU drop at the ammo cache mission. Makes a bit more sense.

Any news on the group script for Indes?

It works but the trade off is having missions that get slower and slower to "spawn". I'm talking two side missions in 2 hours slow.

I'd rather have working missions than the group function working.

Plus tonight when I get home, I shall incorporate the cargo drop mission into the latest mission file.

D'oh, that's a shame. I'm sure it will be sorted in the not too distant future.

An idea that might make cities more appealing to take over.

Like stary in dayz, why don't we place a mash tent or two together on the four or five main city areas and the nw airfield.

This would appeal more to base builders and encourage people to attack their bases more.

Just make then non movable.
 
Would there be a way of making the tents not collapse when they are hit by a vehicle though?

Whats wrong with the server 3 name?
