What mouse did you go for Westie?

This dam update is killing my poor 2mb connection! Been downloading since 10am this morning at 250kbps, 1 more GB to go :)
 
Can anyone help. Getting the occasional problem where I can log in but not join a game or see my loadout etc

Everything is ticked but the games/expansions are unticked and it won't let me tick them?
 
Anyone else experiencing lag type issues one Gun Master games? It's literally the only mode that I have issues on but wondering if anyone else has them? Had a quick google but nothing really came up
 
Reinstalling bf3 after a weekend plagued by system problems. I had bf3 backed up to a second hdd, an earlier 18gb install, but then i also created a backup of the most recent install at 30gb ono. Like an idiot i saved this in the directory of the earlier install. I started the download on origin, then paused it, copied the backup which is now at 49gb and pasted it into my origin games folder on c drive. As ill still need to download the latest 6gb patch, when it completes will origin remove any unneccesary files, iirc a typical bf3 install should be in the 30gb ballpark.
 
Skim reading some of the last few pages and I thought I saw something about being able to delete some temporary install files from your BF3 directory to free up space, was I seeing things? Which files to delete if so?
 
Anyone can help me with my punkbuster problem?

I can't connect to servers and battlelog tells me I need to install punkbuster.

I've tried installing the pb files manually and running pbsetup, when I run pbsetup it times out :(

It doesn't seem to detect the files I've manually placed in the electronic arts\battlefield 3\pb folder.

I also don't have an origin games folder, is that normal?

have you swopped hd or something ? or done a reinstall ?

you should just do a simple pb install and update locate the pb file and it will check it. you could get the file from somewhere else and add it manually maybe off someone else you trust.
 
Reinstalling bf3

As title, managed to weed out the files that i need from my backup, now have one set of 30gb ono, should i just start the download via origin, let it run for a bit, close origin and copy the files into the origin games directory, then resume the download on origin. I still need the last 6gb patch that was released last week as id forgot to back up the latest version of the game. Hoping to have everything in order for the endgame release tomorrow. Providing of course that my ssd doesnt go wonky again.:D

same here, I thought I was going mad as I've had a few bsod's whilst playing bf3

Yes, I normally wait until it hits 1%, but others have told me you don't need that much.

Wha the hell did I download the other day that was nearly 6gig size? I thought it preloading of End Game another 4gig is taking the ****.
 
Looking for the time for end game to start and found also Australia is apparently getting it 8 pm so us 9 am.
