Hey Witcher, thanks for the short Humvee drive ;)

I was at the airport waiting for a survivor to turn up with decent loot and saw action towards the coast. Suddenly a humvee turns up and drives towards me, but turning back towards the tents. Thankfully I was not seen while the driver ran in with Zombies fast approaching.

I sneaked towards the Humvee, took it and went for a drive while giving a short beep. Turns out it was Witcher's who I was just talking to on Steam haha :D

Can we not move discussions about hacking accusations onto the servers own forums to prevent this thread derailing and being closed yet again.

Ahhhhh, well I wasn't at Balota. I came from Kamenka and stopped just west of Kamarovo as I had to logout real quick. So I parked up a tiny bit, when I came back it was gone, so someone must have stole it from the spot I left it, drove it to Balota where you were and then you stole it again LOL. Got to love DayZ.

* [UPDATED] - Zed Target system updated to include movement speed changes. above 10m = full speed, above 2.2m and below 10m = Approach speed, below 2.2 = Attack speed.

* [UPDATED] - Attack system updated to include LOS & Angle of attack checks as the animation is run to make sure player is only damaged/knockdown if they meet both conditions.

* [UPDATED] - RoadBlocks/Trash should now spawn quicker based on the current speed of the player.

Both removed so we can debug fps issues.

* [REMOVED] - Wild Zeds while we try to debug issues with FPS.

* [REMOVED] - Zeds will no longer spawn while in vehicles.

I wish more servers had starting gear, even if it was just an axe or pistol. So i stumbled upon this server, seems VERY busy.



950 vehicles, 100 helis, castles, extra crash sites, starting gear..
 
What is with these custom server with a load of vehicles/choppers?

I thought DayZ was about scavenging and working to find stuff? A lot has changed it seems.
 
well it started out basic then obviously private servers brought in spawn with 65 snipers and 6000 vehicles this has kinda destroyed dayz though as part of the fun was finding a rare gun or vehicle fixing it up.

i have played with a lot of players some since start and some who recently only just taken up dayz and youll find most new players dont want the older way and want everything given to them.

i actually prefer just a lee enfield and basic stuff.

been having a break from dayz for a while maybe till standalone.
