*** The 2013 Gym Rats Thread ***

How heavy are you lifting? When I do it, my upper back, shoulders traps etc, start to feel fatigued. Are you keeping your shoulders pinned back?

I managed 30kg each hand today, it's mainly my grip which stops me going higher. Oh and the fact people don't move out the way cause they have no idea what's happening.

never been a gym/used one of those but pretty sure he's doing it wrong

PB's got smashed out the park this weekend. It's amazing how much more motivation you have training with people you don't normally train with even if it was a 3hr drive.

Current weight (68kg)

Saturday: Squat - 140kg x 5
Sunday: Incline Chest Press x110 x4 (well 3, last rep required assistance :( ) followed by 75kg chain dips x 6

How was it attached? 75kg of chain is quite a lot of chain, physically it must have been a challenge. It works out at about 8.3 meters of 16mm chain!

Link is borked.

apparently the chain was 25kg each I just wrapped it around my neck looped twice with the help of a few guys lifting it.

looking at pic, think that's the first pic - which only means there is 25kg around my neck.

Awesome PBs - good work!

However, apologies if I'm missing something, kai, but your opinions in the interview didn't really reflect what actually seemed to be going on (per your blog posts) with regard to cheat meals, carb loading, etc.

As well as the small fact that you're a fitness model and doing this sort of thing is your job.

Sorry if that's blunt, but that's just my perspective.

Not going to argue with your lifts, however, as your bodyweight makes them even more impressive! :)
