Borderlands 2 release date confirmed ( Launch trailer also )

Generally its because you've ignored side missions. The Wildlife Preservation Area has a huge level jump and those Rabid Stalkers will rip you a new one quite easily. Its not so bad if you've been doing all the sidequests up to that point but on the second playthrough it is very tempting to avoid it.

Saturn is a tedious boss rather than a hard one. It has a silly amount of hp and everything it does can be easily avoided by staying by cover/circling the house.

the hardest yesterday was the 4 badass commanders at the bottom of the lift shaft ( mortar), i got Goliath to kill them for me.....but Mortar later on was easy, because i got yet another Goliath to kill him as well, because normally he's a nightmare :D

the rest of bloodshot was easy, it's just a case of run, hide, run, hide and fight only when you have to !!!!

this is actually quite similar to the 2nd playthough, it's just that i forgot how hard it was last year.
you dont have to use **** first to kill them anymore, Zero seems ok now, he'll be the same as he was at level 50 soon, this will make the DLCs much more fun to play.

We must not forget that Zero was always Krap at close range, with Zero you have to stay back/cover.....so was Mordacia, the only thing that made him good at close range was a monster one shot kill Shotty, usually Jakobs 8500 or Sledge's.

that 8500 Jakobs will probably be by level 61 about 22 000, mine is 17 500 and still a bit weak, but it's only level 57.

Just got my first two golden keys. Would I be better off saving them for later? I'm at level 23 and apart from a few bizarre difficulty spikes where I got slaughtered I'm actually doing ok so far so I don't think I really need them (found two orange weapons so far) but obviously curious to see what you get with them.

put money into Moxi's jar at the bar and she'll give you high damage SMGs, but you have to pay her quite a lot

Yeah I have, going to go a do quite a few of them now. I guess I just didn;t expect a 5 level jump from one mission to the other. To be honest I was fine killing the level 42/43 stalkers, even the Super Badass Stalker, but the Super Badass Loader (not Saturn by the way :p) just bitch slapped me while I could only do about 1.8 of his health with my strongest launchers!

I'd use them whenever you feel your current equipment just doesn't cut it. You could save them until your at max level but to be honest a lot of the missions in the game will reward you with some of the most powerful weapons in the game (Sandhawk, Fibber etc.) so I'd jsut use them when and where you need them. I'v had a few decent etechs from there in the past.

I wouln't hang onto them too tightly, just try opening the chest every 3-5 levels or so, and see what you get. I had a nice sniper rifle that did about 6k damage + swag, which lasted me quite a while.

You can always google around for more keys to use ;)

That Loader shouldn't give you much trouble assuming you can actually deal damage. So long as you have a half decent corrosive weapon its critical hit locations are exceptionally easy to hit and it can't do damage between each gun barrage if you're out of range of the melee stomp. It can get a little annoying when you destroy both its arms though and starts shooting energy blasts at you with no apparent critical hit location.

My strongest corrosive weapon did hardly anything :(. Been grinding side quests all day and I'm up to level 44 and got a better corrosive weapon along the way so I shouldn't have anymore trouble :).

I found the golden chest loot very useful just before I did the final area of the game. I got two/three weapons that really helped me.

I've level 34 and just starting the final main story mission, is that about the right level? I'm not sure I'll bother with a full replay as a second class though but may do if there's a real benefit to it - I just tend not to have the time.

Plus I'm addicted to Prison Architect at the moment lol

Still can't join your game despite being level 23 now! :(

Gutted, was fun co-oping it :)

Is it just me or is setting up coop games a bit of a pain in this? My friends and I keep getting timeouts when trying to join or it just sits at the loading screen.

Coop does seem to get you a boatload of Eridium though.

Completed my first run through last night, Warrior fight was a little disappointing as the lava level doesn't raise much "get to higher ground" should have been "step up about 6 inches"

I really hope Handsome Jack isn't really dead.. he's my favourite villain in a game!

Got this in the sales and it's awesome! I've played coop for about 80% of the time - so much fun!

I got a mad SMG drop at about lvl 18. I'm level 25 now I think and I'll probably be still using SMG till 28 ish. It's just so good! :D

if he's 5 levels above you, or 4, your corrosive gun will be useless, the gap needs to be 2 or 3, because all loaders are weak against corrosive if the levels are closer

Play Tina's DLC. Its brilliant.

Managed to get Krieg through most of the DLC now on UVHM. Finally got to the point where Lightning Bolt and Fireball type grenade mods drop so promptly sent a level 52 Lightning Bolt mod over to my Mechromancer for when she gets that high.

They're weak against corrosive regardless. The level difference just makes you weak against enemies. Corrosive will still be doing more than any other type, its just ##% more of bugger all.

i'm at level 61 now

i didn't have the correct guns to kill Warrior, so it took two hours and the loot drop was rubbish :(

killing Handsome Jack was just a pain in the Ar*e, it's just a case of circling him at high speed whilst blowing the Krap out of him, man it took ages to reduce his health !!!

i then went to ``Steam and power`` to kill those 4 assassins and got totally slaughtered .....they're at level 62 but my guns are still at level 58, so 4 levels down, now this is quite a lot, so it's now time to return to the ``Golden chest`` for the final time.

the game keeps lurching ahead off you, but now it should be stable at 61/62.

if you die too often, the Bandits that you killed earlier on all respawn again, so you cant retreat back into the power station, i killed 10.... with only 3 left....but i kept on dieing and had to kill 13 again, it was like this all the way through, if you die about 8 times they start returning....``Steam and Power`` was harder than killing Warrior

It always pits you like that against op enemies, thats the challenge, and all tht more rewarding when you blow them sky high!
