Ah maybe that is what was happening with the witch doctors. I was fighting lots of mobs while trying to protect Hammerlock while he fixed a boat or something. I got my ass handed to me by the ones he had levelled up.
 
certain areas dont scale with you, the Bar Brawl was on level 61/ 62 when i was only on 53 :eek:....Tina's was 2 to 3 levels above me most of the time, so not so bad

so whatever DLC you play first on Ultra, yes there will be areas where it'll be on level 61/62....it's a game quirk, it's usually a side mission that you take on too early.

the 1st Borderlands was the same too, but it didn't have such a massive rise in health/ shield from level 50 to 51, that game was far more ``user friendly``, because back then you didn't need to **** them first. :cool:

Captain Scarlet + Torgue's Campaign - play during campaign, about level 20
Hammerlock + Tiny Tina - play after campaign, mid 30s.

Well at least first time round.

not sure, i'd do all 4 at the end, but you could try starting each DLC and see what the AI is on....if it's too high, come back later on :cool:

i suppose it depends if you're intending to do the 2nd playthrough as well, if so; do it after this.

but on ultra mode, it resequences back to scratch.... as if you've never played it before, you could therefore do it at level 50 then again at level 61
 
Well that was ever so slightly unexpected.

Went to a shop after reaching Arid Nexus for the story quest, turned round to have a look at the Zed machine.... Item of the Day: Legendary Soldier class mod :o
 
Pushing on with my Zero at level 25 - quite enjoying the bloodshed tree :D

Annoying thing though - saw Captain Scarlett was marked as level 15 so wandered in assuming it would scale. It half scaled! Oasis was 15 and was a piece of cake (and sadly so was Captain Blade's Shotgun!)

Headed off to kill Sandman and suddenly the enemies jumped 11 levels to 26! Nuts! Good challenge though :)
 
Which manufacturer makes the best assault rifles? I'm sick of inaccurate explosive ones, as a decent SMG combined with a sniper rifle always seems better. Do Hyperion make assault rifles?

I like the mini-gun and light machine gun type assault rifles but I'm much more of a fan of shotguns and pistols. Hyperion don't make assault rifles unfortunately :(.
 
Generally I've always found AR's to suck. The basic damage ones just don't deal enough damage outside of headshots and they tend to be so innacurate you can't really get them. Or the single shot ones which would be a middle ground between pistol and sniper rifle... except they just aren't. Its all about the elemental mods which ARs don't tend to do as well as SMGs.
 
Not to mention 99% of AR's have stupidly small clip sizes! Very rare to find a non bandit type with a clip bigger than 30 I find :(

I had an old S&S gun in BL1 with Roland that started with something like 160 rounds + skills made it about 230 - insane! :D
 
the Torgue DLC aint working in ultra :confused:

there are no missions, plus i cant enter any areas ( no E key)..... tinas and Oasis is working fine

i shut down the game a few times but still couldn't get it working.

Verifying files does nothing?
 
Guys can someone please tell me how I can get my hands on some of the golden keys? I have used a couple in the past but I really want more :(
