Why? Fellani is good enough, I mean he is strong and could probably be used either as CDM or CAM. Fabregas is more versatile than Ozil, and would offer more if it really was down to signing either.

Well because Ozil is clearly a very good player and he's available, so I wouldn't have been unhappy if we signed him, but he wouldn't have been an ideal target for us. Fellaini next to Carrick, assuming that's where he plays makes more sense in some respects. I hope he'll do well.

Im very glad we beat Utd to the punch with Ozil signing for us, 5 yr contract £130k a week.

One thing that has brought me somewhat down is that Podolski has a grade 2 tear on his hamstring so hes out for at least 3 mths and even then when he fully recovers, he will need time to get back up to speed

I see where you are going and I dont disagree, but the wages he was after would have been up there with RvP / Rooney - and with the fee RM was on it was an insane amount for a player not really required

More quality is good but United dont need him so i wouldn't agree with that. Fabregas is what they needed a proper CM who can play deep and get the play going.

Fabregas is a all rounder mf and he could partner Carrick behind the Forward's much better than Ozil could and United would effectively be saying F U to Kagawa if we signed Ozil. £43m and wages over £120k in Moyes's first transfer window for a player we don't need wouldn't go down to well.
Fellaini deserves a chance, he's only 25 and scored 11 goals in 31 apps last season.

Yes they do but Fabregas wont be coming to Utd anytime soon, if we add a few more quality players in Jan then i wouldnt be at all surprised if Wenger says to Fabregas, right i got a team that can win trophies..fancy coming back??. Boom Fabregas back to Arsenal, where he belongs and we win a few trophies

Just to let you or anyone know, im not being entirely serious with what i just said but if Utd fans think Ronaldo is coming back to Utd then what hell, i can think Fabregas is coming back

I think it's fine to say fu to a player who doesn't play.

Could have sold him to dortmund or psg and offset ozil. Moyes doesn't have the billy big balls mentality to change the squad that much

although he seems to delight in upsetting evra a player who plays every game of the season by trying andttrying again to replace him while the right back slot is effectively vacated.

Evra's getting old, he can go forward but as for defending, his time's gone and I don't think he's been offered a new contract past 2014. I can't remember how good Buttner is. Rafael is our 1st choice RB, he's good but injured so Jones can fill in until he's back.

Moyes needs to a get grip and change the squad otherwise there's going to be problems!

And even better still someone posted a few pages ago about Gervinho being put through in a game for Roma, only for him to fluff it up like he did at Arsenal

. Im just surprised that Wenger ditched him so suddenly, not that i want the spamhead back but i guess Wenger decided this summer that hes had enough of our rubbish players, got rid of 17 of them either on loan or for free and that in turn released some much needed money to get Ozil in.
