Thanks :) will be putting one here for cost on Monday if it doesn't sell at weekend, so anyone in Surrey on OCUK can collect ;)

First party launch line up is disappointing compared to xbox one no doubt about it but yes both consoles have some very decent third party games, Fifa 14 is fantastic on both consoles.

Picking up my reserved PS4 this afternoon from Argos, think i'm going to keep it and have the best of both worlds and compare them side by side :)

I guess it's how you're brought up. And principles :)
 
Is it just me or have the posts regarding the camera stand been removed?

Anyone else had any luck on this front?

I just tried out remote play over the Internet but it cannot find my PS4... I enabled this in my PS4 settings so unsure what's going on... Can the console not be in standby / do ports need to be forwarded to do so?

It only seems to work sometimes for me as well.

I feel the same. If I pre-order it's because I want the console for myself. To pre-order and sell for a profit is just taking away someone else's chance at getting the console at a regular price - usually preying on parents who want one for their kids. I know people who do this, btw, and this kind of thinking just doesn't factor in their world.

Getting on topic. Mostly pros and one con - the con being that the machine itself looks a little cheap and plasticy, especially compared to the PS3 launch monster. The controller on the other hand is the polar opposite - solid, quality, and leagues ahead of of the previous DS3. I also prefer it to the 360 pad (haven't tried XB1 pad yet) and think it stands up to the WiiU pro pad, which is my current fave. The machine is whisper quiet, games load very fast, and you can tell there's a good deal of power under the shell. My current gaming PC is pretty current (i5, GTX 770 etc) and the PS4 in compariosn, particularly with Killzone, doesn't feel like a slouch at all - there will be many great looking and running games on the PS4 :)
 
Is there any way for you to upload pics/screenshots in game like the Wii U?

Would love to see some proper images in game of Killzone in the Hi-Res Next Gen thread :)

I can see there are low res facebook pics...which isn't great!

With the Wii U all we do is load up the net browser in-game and hit browse on things like Imageshack and it captures the screen and lets you upload at full res :) Can someone give that a go on the PS4?

My replacement PS4 arrived an hour or so ago, thanks to impressive work from Sony.

I am extremely impressed with PS4 and haven't even played any games yet.

The UI is great (prefer it to XBOX One so far) and the controller is going to take the crown of the 360 as best I've used. It just feels right. Never had the big problems others had with DS3 though.

Went to Playstation Store and did my usual click on the button and then put the controller down expecting the 2 minute delay you get on PS3. Took me by surprise when it loaded in 0.5 seconds :D

Is this for the first time?

Mine was very loud for the first couple of hours. Was thinking about bringing it back as it dint sound Normal but I can't really hear it now only when the bluray drive really kicks in.

Was really strange almost like a breaking period it was puting out very hot air also
