Dead Rising 3 latest vid just got me very interested in the game.

If it helps, I'm at level 44 and I've got Health, Inventory, Melee all maxed out (and maybe one more, I can't remember), with every other skill one level below max. I think by the time you hit level 50 you'll have all the skills maxed out anyway :)

Edit: I'm looking forward to have Smarts maxed out, so I can have every book active at once. That'll be really useful for weapon damage and durability.

Just finished my nightmare run before the deadline to get the 7 day challenge, was just about to finish overtime mode and my game crashes! Was on the very last bit /sigh

Will do it again now as I will not be beaten! :p

Once you have all the books unlocked it really does help, I didn't have every skill upon hitting 50 but it didn't take long to max absolutely everything.

Edit: And done, just got my Megaman gun :D

Trying to do the PP trials and I'm missing one gas station to visit and I can't for the life of me find it!
 
Yep, just do it in your inventory like a weapon. I think you need to have the food combo skill unlocked but that's it. I can't believe you've been playing without combing food :p I'd suggest getting the 11th book as soon as possible as it makes the duration of drink effects last ages.
 
Guys playing dead rising 1 and I'm not sure I am missing something or not... Do I really have to travel 20odd minutes back to the store room each time I want to save?
 
As above, can save in bathrooms rybo. This has been fixed in Dead rising 3 I recall, the saving/time system was one of the main criticism's of dead rising 1/2

(However added some challenge which was good)
 
Ok, cheers guys.

Just playing through 1 at the moment whilst i wait for the Xbox One to arrive. Its ok, feels good to go round with a baseball bat and knock some heads off.

Shame that the call system is crap. Constantly shouting survivors to follow me after interacting with them nd they just stand about waiting to be eaten.
 
yeah some of them are terrible! Can't remember one but in two you can hold onto magazines which make them more effective.

Should be getting this in the new year (after mid january dissertation) if anyones still playing by then :p
 
I haven't played a DR game before, but did pick up DR3. Also still have DR2 to play on 360, part of the games for gold.

My main question, I noticed in both there is a "time limit" which I normally hate in games. What happens if the time limit runs out? Does the game just end and you have to start over?
 
From what i gather the time isn't real time.... play for a hour and 4 gaming hours went by...

I could be crap at keeping time though :p
