Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

god damn right us comic book fans feel self importance because without us there wouldn't even be comicbook films.

With out the rest of the general public though, as in people who don't tend to read comics.. Most films wouldn't see the light of day :P

In all the hoohah around the announcement, people seem to be overlooking that Goyer actually announced what the title of the film will be too...

Unless Batman suddenly because an alien super-being, then I really don't see the point? He's not actually a superhero, just a guy in a suit? Not really sure how the two are even remotely compatible. Could be either a very interesting or totally stupid movie...

It could work but not if they fought together. If they used something like the Brainiac invasion as a storyline, superman could be in the upper atmosphere destroying the ships whilst batman could be co-ordinating ground forces and unleashing his small army of super gadgets to protect gotham from them. Due to how powerful superman actually is, it wouldn't work in any other way unless superman lost a lot of that power and was actually vulnerable.

I saw that. I choose not to comment. Besides, in other places on the Interwebz, it's just gone totally overboard the way many people have reacted to this. So I am slowly backing away and will just sit back and await further details and a final confirmation on the movie's title. But dear God please do not let it be a vs kinda movie title!!

That's what he said though; the title with either be Superman vs Batman or Batman vs Superman. WB have registered both domain names. Looks like that's what it'll be.

Just LOL - hope you comicbook fans are happy with yourselves :p. Damn your self importance!

(I am kidding)

I was holding out for Jaimie Alexander, she would have been perfect :(

Jaime Alexander would've been the better choice IMO.
Gal Gadot is lovely and all that, but she's hardly an Amazon. Too skinny for WW if you ask me.

This is all I am hearing from people on the internet! You guys ever hear of physical training? They said the same about Chris Hemsworth and Henry Cavill. Look what happened there!

Gal was even in the Israeli Army. So I am sure she knows how to handle heavy training.

While I know a lot of people wished it was Jaime Alexander. There was a high possibility that Marvel told Warners to do one and leave Jaime as Sif in the Thor movies.

Let's just wait and see how her physical training goes, how much muscle she'll put on and how she looks in the costume! For all we know they probably screen tested her in Lynda Carter's costume. We don't know the full audition process. So let's just be patient!

Women can't always bulk up like men can, plus at this point it's cutting it fine as the movie is already filming. It's not as though she's such a good actress that they just had to have her over someone who already looks closer to the part, she not very good at all.

I haven't actually seen her in anything can she act?
Not that Ive seen, shes basically the pretty quiet bimbo in every movie Ive seen her in - Im sure Ive typed more in this post than she has said over all her hollywood movies...

She was in a few of the Fast & Furious movies until they killed her off. She's mostly only had smallish parts in English stuff.

This might remind you if you've seen them

Everyone does 2 years in the army over there, if you read her CV on IMDB it says she kept modeling throughout it. She's stick thin in all her photos tbh even going back that far.

Not cutting it fine. Movie doesn't start shooting til February. Yes they shot the football scene in October. But actual full production kicks off next year.

Its good to read the they have asked Affleck to stop gaining so much for his current film, Bale looked like a complete softy weed compared to what Batman is...he's supposed to be a BIG guy.

If it's more batman you want, go rent Batman (1989). These reboots and crossovers are terrible

Ahh.....the tinted spectacles of rose.

Batman was good for its day, the toys were great, there is something still epic about the Batmobile and Batwing from 1 & 2 but as movies, they really don't hold up that well.

I still watch them occasionally and enjoy them though.
