Wrong thread.
How are people getting on with battery life?
I was used to my S3 with the 3000mah battery kit so the HTC was not gonna live up to it.
Ive ended up buying a 4500mah external battery to charge it up. should give me nearly 2 full charges in theory.
Battery is better than the stock S4 even with all the gimmicks disabled. Think thats to do with Touchwiz though.
I was on a different network with the S4 too so need to factor that in. (Signal strength)
Can't go wrong with either really.
Seems I am struck with the pink tint camera issue. Gutted!
Means I will have to argue with instore muppets to get a replacement.

Dat pink.... Ooooo
I've started to notice mine is developing the problem as well, and I don't want to send it for repair, everything else is perfect (the build quality is very good compared to the other early HOs). Heck, the front camera looks so colour accurate compared to it now...
4.4.2 update is now hitting some parts of Europe: http://www.androidcentral.com/android-442-rollout-htc-one-begins-parts-europe
I expect us to see it rolling out tonight/couple of days. At least on unlocked anyway, carrier variant may have some delay.
Just checked and the update is available for me to download on an unlocked headset on the talkmobile network
What's your phone CID? You can check with the CID getter app from the play store.
HTC__Y13
The phone arrived with a super CID (111111) set so I ended up changing it to Y13 to get OTA updates.
Already know which CIDs are getting the update as I'm following that XDA thread as well![]()
Does Flash work? There's some people claiming installing the Flash APK will still work with a compatible browser, but I'm pretty sure KK removed APIs that prevents Flash from working... unless HTC added them back in.
link?
It works but you need a hacked APK from XDA & then use dolphin browser.
smyth posted the link at the bottom of hid post which I quoted, but here's the link again: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2305490&page=439
Is there no fix for pink ? Is it a hardware issu?
Ah ok I have no idea with Sense as I don't use it. Wouldn't work on GPE or AOSP though.
